yes because graphics are the only things game engines do, game is cpu heavy not gpu.The game isn't exactly ugly, but it also isn't nearly enough of a looker to justify the fact that you need a 4070 to hit 60 fps at 1080p with high settings.

Runs great. If I had a dollar for every Starfield thread, I’d buy my own island.
on topic , it’s kind of bs to upgrade I thought he said it’s optimized to run on several CPU’s

Bloomberg audience Q: Why did you not optimize Starfield for PC?
Todd Howard: we did... you might need to upgrade your PC
Yes, Todd. Why doesn't the game run on an 960M !

"EVERYTHING STUTTERS ALL THE TIME".Speaking of which, where the hell is Alex's digital foundry PC analysis for this game?
Oh no. You're one of those people who think Bethesda games keep the location of every object in the entire game in memory at all times, aren't you?Yeah, because the only thing the game is doing is rendering the graphics. There’s definitely nothing else going on that it needs processing power for.

Good question. I remember they were critical of the PC port of TLOU part 1. The difference with that game is at least the developers quickly came out and apologised for the poor performance, and have made big strides to fix it (it still isn't perfect but it's a lot better). But Bethesda are saying it's fine, just upgrade your PC![]()

they are straight up trolling PC usersLOL at Phil Spencer pulling his head back when Todd said we did optimize. This isnthe funniest shit I've ever seen.
