Whoops did not realize this. Was talking to a friend on the phone while playing yesterday and guess everyone heard. Must have been annoying to them.

Probably a silly idea, but I went the other route instead of flat out buying a HE weapon - bought the HE ammo clip plans because that seems to be a big upgrade for any weapon, and bought the Item Drop + Credit drop boosting kneepads to hopefully improve on drop rates in the future.

I'm pretty comfortable with the weapons and strats I've been using for challenge mode so far, so going to ride that out as much as possible before thinking about switching gears/sets to something else.

I just hit 30 and I guess I need to do a little reading up on what to do and where to farm gear. I spent some time in the DZ, some purple drops, but mostly blue deconstruction fodder. Maybe I was in the wrong areas. Also, is there like a gear guide? I have a level 30 yellow piece of gear, but a level 30 purple I found a bit later is seemingly much better in every category. Is this completely normal?

What is your current dps? Should have bought a gold weapon plan and craft a good weapon with high dam base + talents.

And I'm done. Got to 31-30 and then saw that there's no content to justify me playing more other than grinding for better gear.

Didn't have this settle in so quick with Destiny but, with Destiny, I also did lose 2 Dark Zone levels due to 6 man rogue groups farming solo agents.

And then I lost a whole level just for trying out Rogue once. Meh. Just don't see the fun here until they add raids.

We basically waltzed through the power plant with only two full wipes.

Did the same thing with randoms. My teammates set up shock turrets and smoke sensors and hid in the center of the previous room, I lured them in from the stairs and then used a smart cover and tactical link for damage buffs for all 3 of us and we managed to make quick work of them. Definitely didn't want to take any more chances and have to repeat that entire section all over again.

Just when you think you found a decent group to grind drops in the DZ.. Spend 20min and 1 guy decides to go rogue in front of 6 others at the extraction point... Sigh

I completed all the missions and it tells me to go here, but it seems the grating is blocking the door they want me to enter? Help?

Add to that someone with skill power build and the Pulse and it makes for cray cray damage. We had a set up like that in Lexington and I was doing 400k crits for Sniper headshots :|

Finally beat the challenge!! We ran into the last wave of enemies when there was ~30 seconds left. 2nd attempt, owned them all with 2.5 minutes left, it was awesome. Felt good considering I attempted it last week and failed, and this time I was with 2 buddies instead of 1.

I got the Caduceus from it. Is this a static gun meaning nothing changes from it? As in no variations?

Can anyone clarify for me if this game has enemy level scaling, for instance -- if I'm level 25 and I'm fighting a level 27 enemy, will I automatically do a lower percentage of damage to them because of the level difference?

Please only answer if you know for sure :)

Started playing today and I'm up to level 9 and I'm enjoying it a lot! Can't wait to get into the dark zone, I had a blast in the beta.

Lexington Event Center challenge was a pain in the ass. We finally equipped with either smoke mines or taser turret. It works well especially runner with the shotgun.

Me and and a team of 3 randoms with 2 on mics managed to get to the room with pumps by taking it slow and being cautious. Got all 3 valves and then got fucked by the time limit. 8 minutes to take out all the enemies must take incredible gear because it was impossible for us. Got to the third wave and then time ran out. Not even sure if that was the final.

So bitter about it. We were doing so damn well but that last section just wasn't doable. 2 and half hours wasted.

It's one of the biggest dps checks in the game. The first time I did it I was under-geared and it took three hours. The second time was easy peasy. Run Lexington and Lincoln until you gear up.

Same thing happened to me. You probably have to cheese it by spamming heals/stuns and luring them out to the choke point.

Any advice on getting better gear? My dps is terrible but I honestly have no idea how to aquire better gear without a vendor. Got 3 yellows and one of them is worse than my purple.

Can anyone tell me what are the high end gun mods out there other than Vector and Liberator? I want a LVOA-C High End but haven't seen it yet or any smg's other than Vector.

Having everyone use smart cover and support stations helps in a massive way. We wiped the first time due to running out of time but when we grouped together and focus fired on every enemy and we beat that room on the second try with 2min30sec left on the clock.

Your dps is also important obviously, but spamming the smart covers and maybe one pulse will significantly increase your damage output to near absurd degrees.

Ha, I just finished it. It took our group of randoms about 4-5 tries before we got past that. Then another 3 tries in the next area. What I've learned so far in doing these challenge missions, is that having a tank with a shield is really important. None of the guys took up that mission to be the tank so I had to even though I am building myself as the Sniper/Skill specialist. You can also dodge shotgunners if you keep rolling a round, and then take that time when they're distracted to help res a fallen teammate. I had to do all of that to finish it.
