It kinda makes me laugh each week to watch the complaints about "Technobabble" and then go to BoyBuds X Nententest.

Banagher is annoying with his constant preaching, but I kinda don't mind as much. The adults ( so far ), treat his innocence as expected, and aren't constantly getting moved to changed themselves because of his ways. That feels kind of nice to me, because it doesn't instantly belittle mature, older characters.

In HxH, I keep seeing innocence and youthful gusto kinda played as it's a surprising quantity that everyone didn't experience in their youth, constantly made into this great big deal... which is bloody plain and usual for anime. I honestly find it more annoying that "Heroes that can do anything!" I'm always happy to have at least one new show in the block that doesn't do this.

*Listens to Kurapika show off by amazingly being more observant than everyone else, because young people are the best!* *sigh*

Welcome to phrasing

people have this issue
x is awful in a show
y is great in a show

it works if 'x is awful because it hasnt deserved my attention for it yet' but in both gundam and hxh's cases we aren't far enough in to reasonably make such a call

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own

Comes with the territory of shonen, unless you have clout like dbz

I feel bad for Ghost Recon Wildlands. So many open world games are coming out next month I just completely forgot about it.

I don't mind Kurapika being one of the 'observant' characters because clearly he's been developed that way as a character (especially in comparison to the other protags), but the "let me explain everything that just happened' structure was pretty blah.

Execution is everything. Most of the technobabble in Gundam is meaningless while the explanations in HxH are actually relevant and actually interesting.

I think it's mostly because gundam talks like you should know this shit, but hunter x hunter, is like of course you don't know this shit scrub lets get you a crash course, but i warn you you still won't know shit.

Yea, Gundam Unicorn is a bad show because its endless conversations just feel like so much dead air outside of mere fragments.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Melody's ability is actually incredibly overpowered considering she's aware of everyone around her and their mood and intentions.

Yea, this is really the point where Nen sails right into Devil Fruit territory where creativity is the biggest attribute.
