Not sure why you would say that considering Gurren Lagann is probably the last great GAINAX show. Everything else they produced post mid 2000s ranged from passable to mediocre.

I like a couple of their shows. Like Magical Shopping Arcade: Abenobashi, for instance. It's not the greatest but something I found enjoyable.
