Look, Clone Wars did worse than IGPX.
Ratings did as expected for a night filled mostly with filler and going up against a fight. It's pretty interesting to see that shift in the number of viewers from IGPX to Clone Wars.

Clone Wars was edging out IGPX until last week.
For comparison: Sept 22nd 2012 (this was a few weeks before going to six hours)

The important story episodes (COMPLEX) of Bebop are 5, 12,13, 25, 26 while the rest are STAND ALONE.
All of Bebop is must watch though.

Speaking of watching Bebop if you get the chance always watch episode 1 again after watching 26. The first episode has a crapload of foreshadowing.
A lot of episodes have foreshadowing/symbolism on rewatches you catch all the little things

Yeah I'd be upset if they skipped almost half the series if I was first time watching.

I didn't have Cartoon Network from around 2001-2008 when I went to college and I didn't really get back into anime until about 3 years ago

That would be up to Viz and considering the original is airing on Toonami, unless there's some difficulty getting the contracts worked out over Final Act, I think chances are alright.

The sub for both InuYasha and Final Act is on viz anime's website via hulu not sure if Neon Alley has exclusive rights to the dub

it is. the VIZ head said it doesn't affect anything in regards to Toonami.
