Ratings did as expected for a night filled mostly with filler and going up against a fight. It's pretty interesting to see that shift in the number of viewers from IGPX to Clone Wars.

Clone Wars was edging out IGPX until last week.

For comparison: Sept 22nd 2012 (this was a few weeks before going to six hours)

12:00am Bleach 1,089,000
12:30am Samurai 7 931,000
1:00am Casshern Sins 742,000
1:30am Eureka Seven 556,000
2:00am Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 567,000
2:30am Ghost in the Shell: SAC 516,000
3:00am Bleach 487,000
3:30am Samurai 7 445,000
4:00am Cashern Sins 368,000
4:30am Eureka Seven 301,000
5:00am Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 307,000
5:30am Ghost in the Shell 275,000

In the first 3 hours, with the exception of Bleach, everything was lower.

Funny how Samurai 7 used to be the second show at one point, and then GXP after that...

Are there any Toonami viewers at this point who haven't seen Cowboy Bebop?
Not too long ago, they messed up the ordering of Bebop and accidentally skipped an episode (or something). DeMarco said that he got a bunch of messages from people saying they were watching it for the first time and wondered why it had happened.

They're out there, I guess.

But the bulk of Bebop's episodes are standalone. How did they actually know?

Speaking of watching Bebop if you get the chance always watch episode 1 again after watching 26. The first episode has a crapload of foreshadowing.

A lot of episodes have foreshadowing/symbolism on rewatches you catch all the little things

From what I'm seeing, it was back in Nov. 2012, where they went from Episode 10 to 20, skipping episodes 11 through 19.

Yeah I'd be upset if they skipped almost half the series if I was first time watching.

That's pretty crazy considering how often it used to be on.

I didn't have Cartoon Network from around 2001-2008 when I went to college and I didn't really get back into anime until about 3 years ago

Alright guys. Sorry about the hiccup in regards to F/Z last week. This week will use the proper audio. That will be all.

It did? Did not know that. Would that lower the chances of Toonami getting it?

That would be up to Viz and considering the original is airing on Toonami, unless there's some difficulty getting the contracts worked out over Final Act, I think chances are alright.

Isn't Neon Alley actually a Viz property? I don't know the details or how that affects Neon Alley's rights to Viz shows.
