I should catch up with the naruto manga tomorrow, looks like with the news that its ending soon means im gonna be talking about it alot for a while.
Like to mention that thanks to you guys for hyping up hunterxhunter aswell, im on episode 27 and it has been getting REALLY good since the final exam. I really do wonder why it hasent been on toonami even back in OG toonami days, nothing in the show seems to be referencing anything.

Actually, my parents bought me a 200 dollar desk chair thats going to be my main present and gave it to me months ago, but I'm always happy to get little things. My mom always buys my brother and I a small lego set and we race each other to build it.

& honestly, I guess I've reached the age (be it kind of young at 22) where it's hard to get excited for Xmas with my mother gone & the only one that really cares is my 11-year-old sister who wants too much stuff. Don't really get much stuff as of lately, anyways.
Really, the closest I "celebrate" is by watching this every year now. Kind of consider it my e-card to people I know online.
Sadly, the week of Halloween, I heard freakin' Xmas music at my Taco Bell. It's insane how early some people start....

If you need a Christmas anime though you really can't beat the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
I've actually gotten to enjoy 'Christmas' more in recent years. Because I live pretty distant from my parents/family during the rest of the year, going home to visit them for a week (and get a break form work) is something I definitely value. The holiday itself and the spending nature of it all I don't care about.
This guy knows what's up. It's how I'm going to spend Christmas Eve.
There's also the first 9 or so episodes of ROD the TV, from the opening to the adorably heartwarming Christmas episode, which Adult Swim used to show on Christmas Eve.
Also the Level E holiday episodes, dear god those are amazing. Then again the whole series is.

I can agree with this 100% though. I associate Christmas and Christmas spirit with family. The holiday season is really commercialized now. It's why advertising stores start music and commercials so early. They want to capitalize on the Christmas spirit. I admit, I sometimes get in the spirit prematurely, but I buy the same as ever. Also, I'm not a big black friday shopper. I went shopping for black friday once and woke up around 11:00AM and went out to buy one item.

Stores in my neck of the woods have been setting up for Christmas since October. 1/8th of the stores were decorated for Christmas, then the rest of them were set up for October. And as December draws closer, the Christmas portion of the store expands. It's almost like a yuletide fungus.
