It is for me. I used to think the odd cute little sidekick character in an otherwise great show was a funny distraction, now it reminds me of the trend they started and what a large part of anime has become. Can't watch any of it anymore. Well, Ghibli movies, because they're still innocent cute and not creepy cute.

i used to wahtc tv but then they came out with some shows i didn like so i assumed all sows were like that and now i dont watch tv anymore at all its all the same mindless crap i wish it was like it was back in the 80's back when tv was good now its all bad
cept for pixar they make good movies that everyone likes without being dumb

There are 38 shows from this season alone. Do you honestly think every single one is creepy cute? Some don't even have little girls in them.

Of course I don't think that, and honestly I lost the taste for anime in general past ~20. I loved stuff like Memories, Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent, Monster, GitS, everything by Satoshi Kon and Ghibli etc. Couldn't and still can't stand anything fanservice-y, shonen, giant robot, slice of life, harem etc. When more shows started becoming like that, and fewer like the ones I liked, I stopped following it. Also Satoshi Kon died The ones that did try weren't as good as the old stuff (eg Ergo Proxy). I don't know if it has changed, but from everything I've seen it doesn't look like it. I'd sure love it if I'm wrong though.

Doesn't really matter. In terms of sexualized characters/materials, often times the 'west' has provided us with something that is much more stupid/silly/offensive than this game.

Congratulations, I wish I was as lucky as you. I think i'd enjoy the little sister experience a lot more if mine didn't scream at the top of her lungs all the time at home and consistently bother me when i'm trying to relax. She never listens to a word I say; in fact she tries to spite me by doing the very opposite.

Thankfully I only have to put up with her for 4 months a year.

The top 20 combined is roughly 200,000 units, which isn't too shabby for one week I think. That would be a good question to ask the Media Create Sales thread gurus.
