It's not out subbed. The Kiwami talk is coming from scans/movie previews and the 31 talk is because some people watch Gaim live as it airs in Japan.

No info on the rider or its premise yet, but it sounds like a solid name for a Rider. Wondering just what this one's gimmick will be. Sounds like cars, but Rider's are about Motorcycles...
I told this to my friend who doesn't really stand tokusatsu, but really loves the original Kamen Rider Black, and he said "why didn't they call just it Kamen Driver?" and I agree. I hope it's not cars.
Also, somebody said something about the ToQers being kids themselves, and that totally makes sense. I bet that Z was the kid that the protagonists didn't allow into their Secret Base and thus why he became evil.

SInce its rumor season again and we already got the name Kamen Rider Drive who here remembers some of the competing Rider pitches that were rumored before various shows were announced?
I still remember Kamen Rider Break being a rumor before Gaim won out. Involved dancing and fighting ghosts called "boogies". I believe the theme was a two tone samurai sword that would supposedly fuse together powers somehow (though that last bit may have been a seperate thing and not part of the Break info back when it got spread).
I also remember before Wizard was shown that their was heavy hinting that the next series would be based around the theme of Art and possibly paintings.
Anyone remember any other rumors or Rider pitches that never made it to air?

Pretty cool so far.
Not a fan of Akiko (hopefully she improves)
But Shotaro and Phillip are awesome. Especially Phillip, he's basically BBC Sherlock with the mind palace.
I adore the sound that plays when they transform and change memories.
The fights are good, when it actually uses the costumes. When the CGI appears it looks silly.

Didn't the casting report for Dino Charge Gold say that he was going to be a British knight from 900 years in the past? Basically, a Western version of Utchi.
I'm hoping that the lack of Cyan in the casting means they got Robert Baldwin.

Not much to add to the discussion except that Gaim continues to be awesome. Definitely something I look forwards to each week.
Still wondering what/who Sagara is, and if he has an ulterior motive. (Probably, given how complex the story is overall.) Kaito's actions obviously don't match his words, so he definitely believes in something beyond just "the strong crush the weak blah blah", and Micchy now getting to play politics with Overlords as well? Literally everyone I've ever met who've watched W say that about Akiko, but almost everyone warms up to her by the end.
There's another character coming up soon that has the same deal, everyone hates him and then grows to like them.
I liked him. Hated Akiko though.

I seem to remember Kamen Rider Blood/Vlad before it was Kiva, Atlas before Kabuto. Fourze was also supposed to incorporate a lot more of the original riders IIRC?
Nowaday's rumors are tame compared to what was before Decade. Shit was wild.

Yes, Fourze was supposed to feature urband legends about past Riders to tie with the 40th anniversary. The idea was nixed in pre-production because they felt Decade was still too recent then.

I remember those.
The two-tone sword rumour came once the name Gaim was revealed, but before the fruit theme was apparent. I remember something about the MC being an small-time actor whose family was old samurai nobility, and he'd run into various Rider actors from the other shows playing caricatured version of themselves (like Ricky Gervais' Extras and Life's Too Short). Because Gaim in this rumour was a proper anniversary show, he would henshin / change forms by plugging a stamp with a particular KR show symbol into the bottom of the sword.

And a hint of that original premise still made it into the show. Gentaro took the name "Kamen Rider" from urban legend videos of past Riders on the internet. It was in episode 2 I believe.
EDIT: Damn, looking for pictures of that I'm struck by how much I miss Fourze's ensemble cast.

I didn't like him at all until his solo movie, and then I loved him. I never minded Akiko though, I thought she was funny and put Shotaro in his place.
There's was no way way it could have been pulled off, it was never even considered, it's just Ahmit's fan fiction.
