What's the biggest difference between Steam and GOG? I'm not PC-savvy, so I just use Steam, but I'd like to know why people are excited it's coming to GOG as well.

That and the fact it made me think for a second that it was on there now, when it's out in a week.
But weren't you more hyped?![]()
Well, the steam version has trading cards and those are worth money.
GOG = no DRM.
I've heard of trading cards before, is there a place that explains what they are and how do I get them?
Basically, being able to play without an internet connection?
To be correct this isn't the one that Carpe Fulgar is working on is it?
GOG too!!?!? Holy shit!!! I'll have to buy it on both!!
While Steam has offline mode, some games are still tied to the client. But yeah, no client needed to run it, so you can boot it up without running anything else.

Oh, get it now. In your opinion, which one is better for someone who doesn't play PC games very often?

Eh. You can see screenshots on the Steam page linked in the OP. The font is thin as hell, looks kinda weird. And stuff like "attack" not being centered in the battle screenshot is also weird.Is it weird that I'm excited to see the better fonts in this version?

I most likely won't be getting this day one due to time constraints, but I will buy for sure. The pc needs more games like this.

That (although Steam has a generally-well-behaved Offline Mode) and there's no need to run a client to play the game. But that being said, a game supporting Steam features doesn't necessarily mean it'll contain "Steam DRM" (CEG, which is what tethers a game to the client) so the game could very well be DRM-free on Steam, too -- this is something that won't be ascertained until after release, though, unless Xseed comments.
