I should've included FC, right?
Added FC just so folks know.
I'm in. Going to 100% thing, which means finding a good guide. Because I'm pretty sure it's impossible otherwise.
And nice job on the trailer, might be Hatsuu's best one yet.
I've been trying to find such guide for weeks, even asked on a few LTTP topics but no one replied.
Yessss, replay incoming.
This time I'mma use a FAQ for the RIDICULOUS missables.
edit: Will this be running at 60 FPS? I'm pretty sure the PSP version was 30.
Steam DRM is basically required for Steam features like Achievements and Cloud support. Otherwise you get inconsistent behavior based on whether they are running in the Steam client or not, or ditch these features entirely, etc. Without the DRM, and accounting for its absence... those features won't work at all if Steam is not running, and that inconsistency can be a tech support nightmare at times.
Now they just need to release SC, say Winter '14.I've been waiting for too long.
There's a guide on Gamefaqs that tells you pretty much everything you need to do in order to get a perfect bracer score:

I know I've been harsh on XSEED's trailers in the past, but this one is actually pretty well-done.
Running into people who run the game with AND without Steam open, and notice inconsistent behavior between these situations... is a thing. You can technically remove the DRM entirely and keep Steam features, but then there is that inconsistency problem between usage scenarios. There's also the fact that if someone somehow gets ahold of the Steam version without owning it and Steam DRM is not present in any form, it will still try to use the Steam features if this person has Steam open, and they won't function correctly. (This can be checked for, but there's still the former problem.)It's not "basically required" at all and Steam Cloud is a client-level feature that even some non-Steamworks games have (it's literally just a matter of telling Steam what files to back up and where they're located). As for the tech support concerns, well, Larian manages just fine with Dragon Commander (and it's not the only example of a Steamworks-supporting game that's DRM-free), but it's understandable that Xseed would prefer to remove as many factors from the diagnostic process as possible.
Finding the time for such a gigantic game isn't easy, but I hope everyone who can afford to buy it now will do it to show support.
So what if i get the steam ver it wont rum very properly without the client being online?Sara (the PC programmer in charge of FC) just posted this on XSEED Forums:

Wait, I know nothing about this game. Why do those tweets have a Grandia 2 background?
Oh i think i get it now thanks.Steam's offline mode works just fine. It's the same as any Steam DRMed game in that regard. It won't work with the client entirely closed though.
Sara, you are the absolute best! The way you mash up the best of the PC and PSP bits on these Falcom Steam releases is... you're making definitive versions here and I love it!
I also appreciate that you keep working on the games till everything is perfect. I remember you had Oath in Felghana running in widescreen but the sprites and text art were stretched. Then next time I played everything was proper aspect ratio without stretching and I was like, "Yay, Sara is awesome!"
So basically this post is about how great you are.

Wyrdwad is betting on early 2015. Hope that is not the case but he's usually pretty optimistic.
While the PC version is the ultimate version, the PSP version has the ultimate release:

The Japanese PC release is better than that IMO.

Because I love Ryudo.
Hatsuu is an XSEED employee, and that is her personal twitter account.
