Yes, but its the only version on the PSN right now, I'd gladly spend 20 on the base game but I'm not being forced into purchasing a season pass.

Is there anything different from HD/Evolution or is it "just" tracks and gimmicks? I mean, I still need to finish some of Evolution's DLCs.

If it was advertised that it would be avaliable at midnight, that would be one thing...but this just sounds like a bunch of silly entitlement.

Don't digital (non retail) games have PlayGo implemented on the PSN? Do you honestly have to download all 5+ gigs of the game to be able to start the game?

Honestly, I'd get this. You'll get a whole bunch more play time out of this than Metal Gear.
Don't buy Metal Gear. I rented it from Gamefly and I was still pissed at the length and lack of content. I haven't played Trials yet but if it's anything like HD/Evo it'll give you at least 100x the playtime of MGS GZ.
So initial impressions, if anyone cares...the game is beautiful. The background animations are awesome, and as someone else said earlier, I am loving the future theme! Controls are pretty tight, although I do admit I miss the 360 controller a little bit right now, but I am sure I will get used to it. I am also digging the challenges they have added to each track. It gives an additional element of replay value...not that this game even needed any other motivation to replay the shit out of it lol...

Not measuring or anything but its a rock solid 60, and there was a day 1 patch.

It's not out in Europe until tomorrow, as that's when our PS Store is updated.
Yeah, I don't have a crazy anal eye for frame rate, but it appears to be a solid 60 to me as well. Also have yet to see any slow down, even during explosions and such.

Does this run the same in PS4 and Xbone?
PS4 is 1080p/60fps, and XB1 is 900p/60fps. I assume the other graphical elements are pretty much the same.
