But nope we would rather listen to Cena's shitty scripted comedy that he has been doing for the last 7 years that he memorises and comes off bland and boring.
This man says Cena writes his own material.

I suppose all that boring, same nonsense garbage we've been enduring for the past 8 years is just Cena's own terrible humor.

But this is the WWE wouldn't surprise me if the writing was a plant, just to allow WWE to turn the hardcore smarks against the Rock.
That's exactly what it is - just another attempt at Vince trying to get people to cheer for Cena, while turning against The Rock, just because. It's not going to happen, especially in Miami.

But that man also said in an interview with the Sun that he didn't take a dump in a bag.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but.. Cena's promo last week was worlds better than the Rocks this week. O___O

That sentence feels dirty as I'm typing it on my keyboard, but I'll be damned if it isn't true...

I did LOL@ the Rocks Camo joke though. That was great.

The writing was likely a work, part of The Rock verbally doing the job for Cena last night - just like Nash did for Punk last year.

Pretty much. I'm going to paste in a post from reddit about this:

Congratulations. It worked.

Think about it. Was Rock's promo really that complicated that he needed notes taking up his whole wrist? If he does, how come no other notes got caught in the years upon years that Rock cut longer promos, and with wider subject matter? Everything about that promo - the notes, the over-pandering, the constant talking about twitter, Cena calling him out on all of it, Rock getting flustered and stammering through the end of his spiel - was carefully constructed to make Rock appear like the Hollywood phony, and Cena the genuine likeable guy.

They want you to cheer Cena, and it doesn't matter at whose expense.

I don't think Rock/Cena will have a clean win.

Miz is going to get involved. He says he's going to be in the main event no matter what....

The Rock is a Hollywood actor who memorizes scripts all the time, however for what it was the Rock's a damn good actor then

I can't imagine the WWE going through so much trouble. Everyone criticizes them for dumbed down storylines and now we got to give them credit for this? Are they even capable? Why don't they think oustide the box on a regular basis then?

Hey kudos to the Rock if so, it was his best performance...

(I noticed the notes immediately and thought it was odd...)

Pretty much. I'm going to paste in a post from reddit about this:

I don't buy it. The Rock is just not a good enough actor to pull off that kind of angry, flustered act. Plus the guy's been using scripts and cue cards for like a decade now, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little rusty on the ad-libbing.

aww man that's all it is?

Teddy and Johnny swap?

Both Raw and SmackDown are about to get extreme makeovers. In an effort to help determine which General Manager should control both shows, the WWE Board of Directors has decided to switch control of each show next week. SmackDown GM Theodore Long will take control of Monday night’s Raw while Raw GM John Laurinaitis takes the reins of next Friday’s SmackDown.

Friday Night Excitement!

Really we all know they are doing Rock vs Cena 2 next year. So we also know Rock will win at WM. Therefore night after WM Cena must turn his back on the WWE Universe. That is the angle they are most likely going with.

Its also a shame Vince doesn't get it - is not that we hate the character John Cena but we hate the performer who plays the John Cena character is a spectacular abortion of a performer/actor.

If CM Punk/Y2J/Rocky changed their names to John Cena - we would get a much better performance in both the ring and on the mic, and thats because they are better actors than the real Cena could ever be.

please just stop

Are people actually thinking that the wrist thing is real?
As people said, Dwayne memorizes scripts constantly.
The stuff on his wrist was on camera too much, on top of it.
Great set up for Mania though.
They had to do something to give Cena some footing.

EDIT:
How I would book it: Cena and Rock have a good back and forth long match at Mania, at the end the ring is rushed by the "jealous guys in the back" who beat down both of them thus elevating some talent.
Because I know I couldn't give a shit who wins between Rock and Cena, the match means nothing.

That's literally the complete opposite of the general consensus. There's no "we", there.

I'm telling ya, Miz is going to crash the party. We're all trying to analyze Rock's promo and what not, and Miz's twitter is the most obvious statement that he's going to get involved. I mean, what else is he going to do? Money in the bank again?

I would hope Miz is still on the shit list and there is no way they would let him near that.
Anyone who gets involved will have MAJOR heat and a huge rub.

According to Sky they are doing MITB PPV therefore I would assume they aren't doing a MITB match at 'Mania.

Why would anyone hate Cena the person? Cena the character is stale and boring.

I played back the part where Andre the Giant slaps Bobby Heenan at Wrestlemania 6 in slow motion. (recorded it on vhs from the live ppv)...

I was crushed...

Lol, I just realized that there was a time when I really thought Taker and Kane could shoot lightning bolts. I would wonder why the government didn't get them to help in wars. Man, being a kid was so much cooler then.

God you guys make me feel old.
I grew up in the Starcade / Great American Bash days with NWA and the territories.
Rock and Roll Express vs the Fantastics, LOD vs Nikita and Ivan Koloff type stuff.
Only fireballs we got were the old flash paper things from Kevin Sullivan and whatnot but man, they played that stuff off like it was the most heinous and devastating thing that could happen.
