How are people saying "I think I like this episode better?" This was a big improvement over the first episode. A few bad scenes still. Less cringeworthy dialogue but it was still there.

But if this is the direction the show is going to go(in terms of improving quality) then I am going to stick with it.

To clarify my previous statement, I think the guy whose murder they are investigating isn't actually dead.

The detective? Yeah hes dead

Umm yeah...

On the flip side Bill from TLoU was Velcro's partner, took me looking at IMDB to figure it out.

Also saw
Velcro is listed appearing in all 8 episodes, so unless he's the flashback kid - he ain't dead

Better than episode 1, but still quite a few "let me completely tune out this dialogue" moments.

Still though, if it can continue to improve by the same level we should be in a pretty good place a couple more episodes in.

Regarding ending...*shrug*. Dude sees blood and puts a gun away...that was...ridiculous. I'm thinking the ending was real because honestly, it solves so many issues that the premier had which was:

1. Too many POV's

2. No reason at all to care about this case.

why not? That's just a fuck you shot.

No way no how he is dead. Rock salt in a shotgun at that range could be enough to knock someone the efff out just from the pain.

Your rock salt theory is fine for the first shot, but that second shot was meant to kill the guy.

Who else is going to have lines like, "i don't know, feels like sucking a robot's dick"

That was pretty great.

I like Vince Vaughn's for some reason. Its definitely the generic crime boss trying to go straight archetype but I really enjoy him playing the role he was always meant to (imo) rather than just another of his comedic roles

Yeah, like McAdams character, I didn't like Vaughn's the first episode. It's starting to work a lot more this episode.

.....although that opening story, was a little to thick and contrived. But I blamed that more on the writing.

there's also so much about that shit that makes no sense..

How casual dude was entering the house. Vaughn's character gave him that info specifically so he could play it straight and then feed him what he had. Why'd he go rogue? And why the fuck did he put his gun away? Last detail seems minor but it was such a weird thing to me.

Much better than the first episode. First episode was all about character introductions, so I could see how people thought it was slow.

The show started with this for me, but fucking lol if he's really dead. I doubt it. Rocksalt maybe.

Also, that mask. Didn't Casper have the same mask in the car? Seems cult-ish to me.

How about Kitsch character watching that male prostitute?

1. Can't get it up for his girl without Viagra.

2. Oedipal shit with his mom.

3. Watching a male prostitute from the balcony while drinking.

Is "Black Mountain Security" a substitute for Blackwater?

I think so.

I think so.

think they're spelling it out pretty clear that he's gay

also the story about him beating up a guy while at the bank for looking at him.

I think when he said "motherfucker" after that bike scene in the first episode it was foreshadowing!!

I bet the masks also in the orgy scene.. Eyes wide shut style!

"There was this fag at the bank staring at me, almost knocked him out" (paraphrasing)
