Do loans count as income? Because wasn't the issue largely that he can't get loans in the US.

Having outstanding loans is just as alarming as income.

I will point out the obvious that there are plenty of ways that the Russians could launder money to Trump. The two most likely being casino loss fraud and real estate purchases hidden behind LLC's.

This is funnier when you consider how much Trump wants the US to be like Russia. Put it in context: unlike Putin, Trump has to try so hard to do his state controlled media thing where the WH is the only source of 'real news' and the free press are deceitful. Problem for him is that we aren't like that, it just doesn't work. It must be so frustrating for him to see how easy Putin has it in Russia. You want to know why he admires Putin so much, it's that Putin already has his authoritarianism and state controlled media, all the things that Trump wants for the US so badly.

He had no business ties to Russia, guys, well maybe some, but they don't matter, we have to believe the words of his attorney, why would he lie for the sake of his client? And don't ask him to release his taxes, they're under audit and they're just tremendous, so many pages,
so much corruption,
you wouldn't even understand them.

About Trumps tax returns. If he did do any business with the Russians, wouldn't they be under his company's tax returns, and not his personal?

That's not even what is going on.

Russian gave money to random guys that then gave it to trump. (that's how they do things)

The reason he doesn't release the tax returns is because people would look into all of this and would put 2 and 2 together.

Didn't get that from your post at all....but it would help with connect a dot. I'd imagine...as there is a serious problem in the US...he's used some shell companies.

So I just woke up, hoping there'd be some developments this morning. Wasn't disappointed. If he has "nothing to hide" with his tax returns... why not release them? It's pretty obvious he does have something to hide.

I do believe it has been speculated that Trump's tax returns are structured in such a way that almost all of his business dealings are included. That way he can write off business losses and pay next to nothing. There would be a whole lot just in the private returns.

What is even happening at this point? I keep thinking to myself that if I ever saw a political television series with the same events such as those in real-life American politics, I would probably believe it to be too far-fetched and unrealistic. Simply the number of absolutely improbable events happening recently is astounding:
  • A non-politician becoming president depite numerous normally career ending gaffes
  • A foreign power messing with US elections
  • The non-politician may well be a foreign agent and the previous government did basically nothing to stop him from becoming president despite potentially knowing this fact
  • New president uses twitter to set daily news agenda
  • New president alleges that millions voted illegally (offering no proof) - no repercussions
  • New president alleges that ex-president 'wiretapped' him (offering no proof) - no repercussions
  • New president fires the director of the FBI for ever-changing official reasons and is now threatening him through twitter
Trump's ridiculous comb over only adds to the surrealism of everything that surrounds him.
