yeah the bar has been lowered so low here and its been proven facts dont matter anymore, some smart motherfucka is gonna use this for the future. We are screwed. But at the same time there are still a large majority of smart, vocal people, and most of Hollywood that continue to call bullshit so i think we can still save ourselves, it is just gonna be exhausting.

I guess I'm trying to say that with all the politically dangerous and inane things he said it's weird that an issue that most Republicans never really seem to care about (women) is what set them off. I gotta kind of agree with Trump here that the Republicans suddenly jumping ship after actively working against women's reproductive rights and making it harder and harder to take rape as an issue seriously in this country are being hypocritical at railing against him for this, without excusing Trump.

This time he insulted and belittled (white) women. White women are a big voting block for the GOP. The party didn't learn from past elections that the need minorities too so when he insulted and belittled them they didn't care.

There is too much shit he's said to go through why it didn't matter to the GOP. The main point is with this shit that came out over the weekend he polarized a large chunk of the republican base voters. GOP literally cannot win with only white men voting. They need white women as well. That's why the GOP only now is distancing themselves.
 
After all this, 90 minutes, fielding audience questions and no nonsense Anderson Cooper moderation...

Fuck the Giants and Packers.

Any other Sunday, I would be watching that game.

Not this one.
 
I love how Trump wants to take the whole party down with him. Good fucking riddance and hopefully a new more socially liberal Republican party forms from the ashes.
 
After every US election since 2008, I always expect the Republicans to regroup and address the many issues plaguing their party and making them a laughingstock worldwide. But they never do, they just double down on their own stupidity and bigotry. I wonder what they have in store for 2020. It will be hard to top this clusterfuck but I'm sure they'll manage somehow.

Oh shit that's right. Good thing I have two TV sets, just have to set the other one up. Will have the game on mute and the debates on at the same time.

Hard to get rid of a demographic that they have catered to for a long time. Not easy to run away from the monster they gave a voice to.

I read that as "I'll have the game on and mute the debates at the same time" and my brain broke for a moment.
 
I bet that once the general election is over and Trump loses the GOP is going to go crazy and just let loose on Trump on a massive scale since they will no longer feel it's necessary to pander to him anymore. He is going to become a massive scapegoat.

Getting massive dopamine spikes from Schadenfreude that the GOP MRAs and Alt-Right Racists were instrumental in electing the first African American President and the first Women President back to back; while burning their only political outlet to the fucking ground.
 
Maybe all of the Trump sheep and Trump himself will move to Antarctica and build a wall around themselves so we never have to hear from and about them ever again after November.
