Anyways, that kind of looks like a half-awakened comatose Dougie. His look when he said "damn good" seemed even more focused than that look, IMO. Wasn't there a teaser of him driving a car?

For all we know, could be a Dream or a Lodge hallucination™. But I would still consider it an enormous reveal so don't click it if you care. It doesn't spoil any resolution but it's still a huge thing.

I mean, to me this is what the show is building up to and I'd be a bit disappointed if it didn't. "The one leading to the many" returns.
Sounds more like a person being pissed that someone just barged into their home without announcing it first.

I can highly recommend it if you can get tickets. I know we've got at least one other fest goer in this thread, but trust me when I say it's an amazing time.
I'll be posting pictures over the next week or so from Washington state, presuming that everyone in here is cool with that and no one wants to be a wing wang about it. And yes, I'm still chuckling to myself about how that term apparently upset someone.

I'm doing my usual not-at-all-unhealthy post-peaks podcast binge, and the one i'm listening to just played the Candie/Annie bit, and that last shout does sound an awful lot like 'Annie'. There ain't no way that's a coincidence.
Also, I'm super LTTP but I ended up watching Californication on Netflix, which tends to be fairly good mindless background fodder (I'm a little ashamed of myself tbh).
But guess what? Madchen Amick just turned up, playing a character called... Janie Jones. No fucking way.
Calling it now - 'we are like the dreamer' is Audrey. And we won't see her until that episode.
Unfortunately 'considering' involves a flight from south west UK over to the pacific northwest, but I have dreamed about it.

That's certainly what it seems like but who knows. Given there's a tracking shot of them going up the steps together hand in hand, gives a very climatic feeling to it, not unlike the shot at the end of Mulholland Dr as Camilla guides Diane up to the mansion party. Or ya know Lynch just likes tracking shots like that

I just meant that when I read the subtitle, I imagined it has something to do with Dougie due to the red door being mentioned a few times. I don't think there was anything off about it. Although IIRC didn't an owl fly over the house the first time it was shown? And whenever I hear red door, I think red room. Who knows.

I just rewatched the scene and I'm convinced that it means the Lodge spirits are looking after him, one way or another. The same way MIKE tries to guide him towards certain places. Maybe it's The Giant (or someone else) keeping tabs on him? Don't quite remember how the whole "the owls are not what they seem" thing worked in seasons 1/2.
Just the way it immediately caught Dougie's attention and the brief foreboding music that plays, it's gotta be there for a reason.

So close to the ending in terms of having titles revealed (all titles but the two-part finale known now), but those are some interesting episode titles with some interesting implications. 7 Parts to go still though.
I think its unsettling that you were masturbating to Audrey Horne/Twin Peaks alreay when you were 11/12 years old. And to assume that everyman per definition liked her. When Lara Flynn and Madgen Amick at least were even same or more attractive

Since we're on the subject of inappropriate mast--err, of our favorite women of Twin Peaks, can I just say that Madchen is looking better to me this season than in the original run?
That was from a Gallery show done by Spoke Art! The show had sold out on their prints but I emailed the artist to see if he had any. He thankfully did. It's a damn good print at that.

I think she hasn't aged as well as some others. Or maybe it was just because they reenacted a scene and it made it striking.

Yeah, I thought so too.
I've been thinking that when or if that scene ever comes Cooper might still be Dougie. So if the part 14 line refers to that scene and if what we were able to read is somehow connected to the state of Cooper as Dougie, it could be Cooper is Dougie for at least a few more episodes. I'd be fine with that though.

I think it's unsettling that you came to that conclusion.
Aaaaanyways I will try to get good pictures at the fest, including of the costume contest and locations. Definitely don't sleep on tickets if you ever want to go, and I know it's a long haul from the UK but people that make it usually really like it. A guy who came from Scotland last year is coming again this year. That happens quite a bit with the fest.

You know what, I withdraw my argument. I'm on board with this.
It's an embarrassment of riches, really. You've got Audrey, Shelley, Donna and Laura, but you also had Norma, Josie, and Annie. And Lynch continues to pile it on with Janey-E, Tammy and Sandie, Mandie and especially Candie.
I'm a Audrey man myself. Or more accurately Audrey then, Candie now.
