This is probably the biggest change I've noticed.
Was this not happening before?
What does this mean for Truth Social?
He is not very coherent… it’s why he’s making all of those bad decisions. Guy makes no sense at all.For a guy who complained a ton about the number of bots and fake accounts on twitter, he sure made a big decision by letting literally anyone vote in a poll.

Their fates do seem entwined and heading in the same direction.
Basically 3 folks who are likely bipolar.. musk is on the spectrum as he self admits so he's not a 100% even in the best of times.
His decision was made before he ever made the poll. He knew the decision was unpopular, but the poll gives him the cover of "it's what the people want" even though everyone involved knlws the poll is filled with bots and troll accounts from both sides. For a guy who complained a ton about the number of bots and fake accounts on twitter, he sure made a big decision by letting literally anyone vote in a poll.
It did refute some of it since she was implying that J6 rioters actively caused other people to die.Was this not happening before? Because that blurb didn't actually refute anything she said it seemed to mostly clarify it with context.
Thats definitely a useful tool to keep around topics like that
Twitter was already haemorrhaging money. Do you mean more money? So Twitter is hemorrhaging momey due to the exodus of advertisers due to the uncertainty and lack of moderation.
If it's true that Truth Social is powered by Mastodon (which I've thought I've heard before), isn't it kind of weird that people would leave Twitter for the that particular competitor?
Why would you suggest that being bipolar has anything to do with being autistic? I'm afraid I'm not following you here.
It’s going to lose even more now. What musk is doing is dramatically damaging the brand to the point of no return.Twitter was already haemorrhaging money. Do you mean more money?
What could possibley go wrong. Uh, possibly go wrong. That's the first thing that's ever gone wrong.Trump got his twitter back , what can possiblely go wrong ?
Narcissism seems to be their most dominant common quality with all the tendencies. Reckless when desperate.Basically 3 folks who are likely bipolar.. musk is on the spectrum as he self admits so he's not a 100% even in the best of times.
Yes. And it's not just "more money". It's "a shitload more money".Twitter was already haemorrhaging money. Do you mean more money?
I don’t think Trump will be able to help himself. As far as advertisers are concerned, I don’t think they’ll want to be associated with a brand that allows trump to run rampart on their platform. Not after everything he’s done. But, ultimately, it’s their choice. So should advertisers be pressured to leave if someone people don't like CAN post, even if they decide not to post, and even if they never post again? It would be weird if that turned out to be what happens.
So Twitter is hemorrhaging momey due to the exodus of advertisers due to the uncertainty and lack of moderation. Then the $8 Twitter Verification fiasco goes horribly wrong and costs them even MORE advertisers.
Elon's response is to unban some of the most high profile offensive and brand damaging people that were banned for good reason like Andrew Tate . Then on top of that he unbans Trump of all people?
Man I'm sure those advertisers will be back any day now. What fuckin shitshow

If the poll had gone the other way he would have figured some other way to unban him. It brings eyes and clicks which makes his little graphs look real nice. The problem is that advertisers don't want to touch any of this mess with a 10ft pole thanks to all his recent moderation decisions.
So it's all for not anyway lol
Watch out guys Trump is running rampant. The level of hyperbole over a dude tweeting is hilarious.I don’t think Trump will be able to help himself. Cringe or not, keeping someone banned who is running for public office doesn’t sit right with me. Not really the “public square” in that case.reinstanting trump is cringe

Won’t be surprised if this thread is nuked soon lol
Fox News is associated with Trump, the right, and everything liberals hate. And they don't have problems finding advertisers.
Twitter will be just fine.

I would guess if we're discussing him as it relates to what advertisers may do, or how it could affect the general level of activity at Twitter, that would be fine. I wouldn't go into the subject beyond that, though. I hope that people will get thread banned if they do ignore the no politics rule, rather than the whole topic being closed. This entire situation with Twitter is fascinating to watch unfold.Gonna get nuked if we keep talking about him.
Regardless of how you feel about him politically (I’m not a fan) it was a mistake to ban him. To many his tweets were unbecoming of an elected official and a major turn off to just enough republicans and swing voters to cost him the election in 2020. Trump not driving every single news cycle daily with his tweets has kept him largely out of sight and out of mind to anyone who isn’t watching cable news to the point where some people are forgetting just how nuts social and traditional media sentiment was from 2016-2020. For people who don’t want him re-elected why turn off an outlet that lets him showcase exactly who he is?Bread and circuses. It's all just a game for Elon Musk. All of it. Might as well laugh at the situation.
Really now...is he going to decide all future ban appeals through a poll? Otherwise, he's establishing a double standard.
I mean, it's funny to see people both getting super happy and super mad about this, but even Trump has bigger issues to deal with right now than whether he's on Twitter or not.
