will Bones lose to a guy his own size?
will Barão's belt finally be renamed the official BW title?
will Brendan Schaub suffer another life shortening brutal KO?
and holy shit, Menjivar is still around.

Nurmagomedov on this eh?

Also, I'm curious to see what the JJ/Gus fight will look like. Still take down and elbow finish or what?

Jon Jones going to show how big small of a draw he actually is.
Very little hype and the card is basically riding on him

Some potential good fights on the card from top to bottom. Don't really care about the main event at all since I've failed to see how Gus has a shot, but who the heck knows.

The size parity will have no bearing on the outcome of this fight. Gustaffson has a lot of holes in his standup. Jones is gonna smash him.

And the rest of the PPV card, while not really worthy of shelling out $55 for (but what is?) are pretty great except for Schaub and Meathead. They all have FOTN potential.

I think the biggest reach in the main event is thinking Gus stands a chance. His best use of his ranginess has been kicks and pushing guys away who get inside his reach. I don't see this flying with Bones at all over the long haul of 5 rounds.

I'm sure his grappling has improved since training with Phil Davis after his loss, etc. but I can't help but think Gus has a steady diet of elbows in his future. My two cents, anyway.

Gus is fucked. Worst part is after this is over, we'll have to listen Dana and Rogan pretend as if Glover has a chance of hell of challenging Jones.

"Texeira is fucking nasty. He finishes everybody he fights. And he was telling me he DOES NOT like Jon Jones. He's hungry for the belt. And ya know, I was just talking to Hackleman the other day and he was telling me Texeira is the most vicious puncher he's seen since fuckin Chuck Liddell. The kid's a beast."

I did my best but its not great. Your turn Heel!

I can see Dana saying all of that.

Better chance than Jon's previous challengers have had at least.

Nurmagomedov fight should be a good one.

That main card is fuckin garbage, especially if Bones/Gus is as much of squash as it might be. Dana's got a lot of nerve charging $60 for this. Schaub vs Mitrione is Fuel worthy.

This card looks like its gonna be exciting.

Let me tell you about Matt Mitrione. You guys heard this? This kid came up to me at the Boston card, right? He said "Brendan Shwab is gonna regret he ever signed that contract." I don't know if you guys know this, but these guys do not like each other. We'll see what happens.

Worst PPV card of not only this year, but of the past 2 or 3 years. Yes, worse than 147. Gus has no chance vs Jones and Barao/Wineland is the only good match on the whole card. It is embarrassing to see Schaub, Mitrione, Nurmagomedov and Carmont on a main card. 147 had 3 good competitive matchups: Franklin/Silva, Werdum/Russow and Dias/Alcantara.

And that's saying something.

Who the fuck is Dana crappin' with this?

Why does he always seem to want to put Jonny Bones on absolute shit cards? Remember the UFC 151 lineup before JBJ chickened out? It was deplorable.

I have to disagree, Pauly.

  • Catchweight (190 lb) Rich Franklin vs. Wanderlei Silva
  • Middleweight Cezar Ferreira vs. Sergio Moraes
  • Featherweight Rony Mariano Bezerra vs. Godofredo Castro
  • Heavyweight Fabricio Werdum vs. Mike Russow
  • Featherweight Hacran Dias vs. Yuri Alcantara

I legit don't know who half of these people are and that's not even touching on absurdity of Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva main eventing a PPV in 2012.
