Man, that was a terrible fight. I hate how Joe is giving Lombard more shit than Shields.

In the second and third rounds, Shields did absolutely everything he could to win the fight, Lombard didn't.

Granted they both did effectively nothing, but Shields was trying and completely outclassed.

After seeing this fight, I now believe the Ultimate needs mandatory retirement once you turn 34.

The quality of that fight had nothing whatsoever to do with the age of the fighters. Shields has been like that since forever, and the same could be said about Lombard but it was harder to tell back when he was knocking out cans in the first round.
