Lib Dem legitimacy confirmed? Even just putting them up there in the first US-style debate like this validates them as a serious contender and not just a third-party spoiler option, and the fact that Clegg seems to actually have won the debate could be huge.

Seriously.

I knew the Lib Dems would get a huge bump from this debate and he knocked it out of the park. These polls will be FANTASTIC.

the contrast between the itv and bbc debates will be the best argument for the license fee coming out of any of the parties.

Guess I'm switching back to Lib Dems as my vote for now. By far the best of them all right now, the way he just kept above the bickering and just went straight to what his party was going to do was quite good (though i hope in a hung parliament, the nuclear plan still goes through). Sick of the pandering bullshit of Conversatives, but Brown/Labour was actually quite good but still had quite a lot of blanket statements.

All I remember from the debate is that wherever Cameron went to bad shit happened. Some woman's house in London was burgled and than burned down, some guy couldn't get Cancer Drugs, and evil Russians had Nukes and shit. Fuck me.

10.17pm: Sky have just released the results of the polling they did after the first hour. It shows Cameron on 41%, Clegg on 32% and Brown on 27%.

Clegg put in a good performance and is 100% the winner in my books, he and the Liberal Democrats easily had the most to gain from these debates and I'm glad he is capitalising on this opportunity.

Cameron looked like he needed a shit through most of the debate.

Looking forward to the BBC debate.

Murdoch's channel. 'nuff said really. I'm amazed at the Daily Mail poll, though that could be from all the GAFers voting on it for Clegg:D

That's why they limit people to voting just the once GU. Sort out your web apps plx.
