When I first started getting into Mountain Biking I didn't want to spend too much money and made the fatal error of going to Halfords. I came out with a Carrera Vulcan. It wasn't too bad a bike all things considered. But last year I splashed out on a Kona Minxy. Will never go back.

Either of you watch the first round of the UCI Downhill the other week?

Eh, I think she may need a little maintenance after standing for 5 years. Actually, it's probably the best thing that ever happened to the bike, before that it was being thrown at, off and into everything I could find. Thing is, bones don't heal so quickly any more, I need a nice trail-bike, not a nutter dirt-bike.

I'm thinking something GT, Orange or Kona. 17" because I'm not quite out of my hooligan phase yet.

Oooh, lovely. I've had a Kona or two. Snappy little buggers, always eager to spring forward. I had a 14" Lava Dome that I was using as a trials bike. When it was stolen I went into prolonged mourning and switched to GT's instead.

I didn't watch the downhill because it reminds me how long I've been out of the loop. I get sad when there's no Steve Peat, Rob Warner or Missy Giove.

Dude, Steve Peat is still racing, and Rob Warner is commentating! You should check it out, all the young guns made last year super exciting, this year looks to be much of the same!

We're taking the truck up to Fort William in June to watch the next round, I canna wait!

Alright, I'm in. Currently, I'm only following the BTCC so there's plenty of room in my sports schedule. I'm well chuffed to hear Steve Peat is still rocking.

(Goddamnit, I really can't afford to take up mountain biking again. I snapped a GT Avalanche frame and a pair of Race Face cranks for crying out loud! I'm a hooligan!)

Office people - how do you deal with sitting down for so long? If I go to the bathroom just so I have an excuse to stretch and flex any more they might think I have a bladder problem.

My back is aching something fierce by the end of the day, and I know all about sitting properly and adjusting chairs and the like.

I used to be obsessed with Domino's, especially after working there, but all the recipes got changed so now it sucks. Also, shop-to-shop, it isn't a very consistent franchise.

Right now I have a Papa Johns near me and that's alright. Il Carnivoro is a decent dish.

I don't think my local Indian even does pizza. I don't think I've ever had a pizza delivery now that I think about it. I tend to just get 2 for 1 specials are the supermarket.

Just-eat is a good site for checking out menus of different places.
Although the best places won't to be on the site, because they don't need to be.

Only other pizza places by me are all Turkish, but you get a lot for your money. Indians stick to the curries.

I've never heard of Indians doing pizza, that must be a Scottish thing! The best places down in Softland are run by Turks. Gah I want pizza now, and there's half a pancetta with caramelised onion one I made in the freezer. I must save that for tomorrow's dinner at work though.
Oh ho! Have you ever gone to Domino's website? £15 for a single 'large' pizza? How the fuck do they stay in business?

Yeah I've lived (and ordered copious amounts of take-away) in London, Essex and Portsmouth. I've never even heard of indian restaurants serving pizzas before.

I've also never eaten a pizza dripping with that much fat.

Yesterday I ate a 14pc chicken, 6 fries, 3BBQ wings, BBQ beans fried chicken bucket and then a full on Indian take-away within the space of 2.5 hours of each other. Delicious. When I get hungry there is no stopping me.
