Ultimate Marvel needs to get here already, I'm over here trying to come up with the stupidest combination of tactics just for flavor commentary's sake. I already have one where I use Strange's Spell of Vishanti then DHC into Zero's Rekkoha. I'm calling it "Reading Rainbow." :lol

In short, fuck the mutants. The comics ranged from decent to terrible and the cartoon has not aged well at all. The art style is dated, the stories are cheesy, and the voice acting (in the cartoon) was god fucking awful. I'd rather watch 4Kids' dubbing of One Piece than watch X-Men ever again.

I want Ultimate because it's late to learn specifics about my characters right now so I just experiment with team construction philosophy, and because there's no point in coming up with strategies for characters I can't touch yet.

Watching '90s X-Men, you really got to embrace the cheese, but I would love more X-Men in UMvC3 personally. And while some of the voices were goofy, Sabretooth's was perfect. I still think the series as a whole holds up, I've been watching it recently myself.
Oh and Wolverine's got the biggest case of blueballs in the entire series. Turned down by Jean, Silver Fox, Yuriko, and even in an alternate dystopian future where he's married to Storm he ends up on a mission to fix the future which brings everything to the normal timeline where they're just friends. Logan can't catch a break at all.
