As someone who mains Chris I dig his alts. Would've loved a red one, and yellow doesn't match anyone else I play him with but it stands out. LOVE the new grey Cap and solid black Chris.

Why they couldn't put that much effort into all the new Alts is more aggravating than having no good alts at all to be honest.
Its such a "favorites get the best" situation. Especially when some of them are so lazy looking and just "Hey here's a redo of an alt from the old MvC2 alt."

The Marvel side ones have generally been pretty solid but most of the Capcom ones have been pretty damn meh and lazy. Even NeoG himself couldn't influence the art team to make some decent ones for Dante/Trish (Vergil got some pretty awesome alts I am not gonna complain there). The DS characters got the worst ones by a mile.

I mean a really awesome recolor like Ghost Trick Phoenix Wright with Ammy-Missle is amazing, while looking at the Darkstalkers and some of the other characters, it's just plain boring. Deadpool gets an X-men outfit with redrawn details while most characters get a new pallet thrown on their existing clothes?

Saying the Capcom alts are lazy is one way to put it. I said it before, they should focus on palette options instead of references for some characters because some of those references are just mundane or do not translate well to the character models. Darkstalkers being the worst offenders.

Also something I've been wondering about is that if Nova gets tagged as an assist, loses 90% of his health upon which you DHC into him, is all that red health burned or is it then just the amount of red health required to get the full damage boost. Say the damage boost cap maxes out at 400.000 red life is anything more than that not deducted?
