That guy from SRK who made the Zero changelog video had that in his video as well. This has been known for quite some time although it's not really a game changer for Zero because he could already do Buster relaunches (from the air) anyway.

IIRC he only cancelled the OTG into buster, but didn't follow it up, so it's not quite the same thing. I guess that how useful this will be depends on the hitstun deterioration of his combos.

It's not; the same leaker has said that Rocket Raccoon has a rolling log move that wall bounces which is supposed to be quite a good assist. He also said that Rocket Raccoon is a disappointment, so don't expect the Raccoon to look anything like you expect him to be. All the talk about him being a "comedic" character makes me suspect he's going to be the new Viewtiful Joe rather than the new Cable.
 
The Zero relaunch isn't THAT big of a deal... you guys should be more scared of the M Raikousen -> Buster cancel mid screen safe 50/50 that can be converted into the combo.. >_>

Also I can't believe NO ONE caught the $500 sunglasses reference.

I think he confirmed on the boards that he could relaunch that way... and the video should've been enough to infer if your Marvel tech is up to speed. HSD should definitely be a factor because with assists he can do another one of those at the end if he is allowed but I don't think he will (then again Doom can do quadruple relaunches...).

OH THAT REMINDS ME: Max can you make a video for UMv3 Ryu? I feel like he got the most changes in this game and a vid featuring him would be awesome (plus I main him ^_^; )

Oh and this video has SO MUCH GIF and reaction faces material XD

Man people weren't kidding when they said Strange is high execution/set up based. Also THOSE TELEPORT RELAUNCH COMBOS, LVL1 LINK AFTER LVL3 AND AERIAL IMPACT PALM RELAUNCH!

Jesus christ... Also didn't the Eye of Agomotto hit OTG?
 
Actually, I say you should have a gameplay changes episode for the last vid. Half of the cast are already looking like new characters in a way. :D
 
Ohohoh very interested in the new Zero buster relaunch. When I follow up air buster with raikousen I get fake dive half the time, so this makes me happy. I'm good at the command dash down follow up instead, but I heard that's harder in Ultimate so..

I don't go to SRK that much anymore, so I didn't see the post, and yeah, I imagined that you could do it, but I hadn't seen it before.

I was thinking about doing combo->OTG->Buster relaunch->combo->OTG->relaunch with assist's help->air combo->buster relaunch->combo again. HSD shouldn't affect that too much, should it?

Yeah it's harder... in fact even the Raikousen follow up is tighter. The Buster now drops them way faster so you have to be tight with the relaunches but the OTG seems like a better option if it's easier.

I don't know about the 2nd Buster relaunch... he might not be charged until then although who knows. I know he doesn't get charged up for the aerial version but the OTG window will give him some extra charge time. That's probably one of the things to check with Zero if he can do a combo like that because that would seriously up his damage with just 1 assist.

Have you heard what Nemesis sounds like in RE3? It's like complaining about the VA of Amaterasu because it doesn't howl/bark right. Saying that Nemesis even qualifies for VA is stretching it...

I get pissed at Capcom, but I don't take what Gaffers say to heart seeing as I've got to post and discuss things with you guys on a daily basis. Also, I don't hate Frank West. I don't like RR that much, but I don't think that I hate(probably will if he does get a pendulum cancel though) him.

I'm not the same guy I was two months ago. I'm sure people mention Hsien-Ko's name around here more often than I do now and it sorta creeps me out lol.

I was specifically thinking of Dormamu (I use him in my team currently), whose assist keeps them in place for a while, and if you start charging right after the L Raikousen I'm pretty sure you should have lv3 buster by the time you need it.
 
Yeah I just asked about the Eye OTG as well. I could've sworn I saw it OTG when Strange was first revealed. I do know that it comes out so slow especially as an assist that it's hard to combo but I still think it hit OTG. Maybe that's changed now.


So I take it there was request for mashable supers to return? I thought those weren't liked much?

Assuming charge time hasn't changed, that'd give him enough time to charge the buster up again due to the assist helping re-launch in the middle.

The Zero combos I do currently use two OTG assists, but I catch them with Buster ---> Raikousen down to the ground --> relaunch there, and buster them at the end after the 2nd OTG launches.

So yeah, it's time plenty.

HSD deterioriation on the other hand..

Is this extra damage on top of what they were previously, or does a fully mashed-out super do the same max (i.e. non-mashed gives less than before) Does that question make sense?

You know I read a ton of MvC3 request lists back in the day, but that particular request was never on them.

Must've just been a developer preference.
 
Ugh, my handicapped hands :(. I hope mashing isn't necessary for HALF the damage or if it is, it's not looking for a lot of mashing.

The additional button presses for Hulk's command throw twirling them is the max effort I want on mashing.

Still the sickest concept around for the character IMO.
 
seth killiam made it sounds like mashing dealt more damage than they do normally in vanilla at that tournament with haunts and horsehead and jared
