UMVC3: Phoenix Wright and Nova Revealed!

I want dates on DLC alts goddamnit. And I want more than one per character. Remember Capcom: the goal with this game is to go balls out.

Also someone better eventually speak up on alt colours for alt DLC costumes.

If I was not sleep deprived I'd probably compile my wishlist for alts even with my minimal knowledge of the Marvel universe.

Firebrand: Anchor due to the fact he has ways to setup insane fuzzy guards with his speed boost, helper and XF3 and seem to be able to rip you to shreds.

Most agree here. Anchor Firebrand is going to rip through chars like nothing.

I thought Max already came out and said that he have full version early in order to shell out hype videos under contract by Capcom and Marvel. It might be just my assumption after see what's going on.

I would either start with him and dhc him to 3rd or have him anchor. either way works but you want him last in the end

Iron-Man - If theres a new one beyond Iron patriot use The MvC2 version or Hulk-buster
Hulk - Mr.Fixit
Wolverine - Should be Costume-less one (A white undershirt with light brown pants, no mask)
Thor - Ultimate Thor sporting the beard
Deadpool - ??? Maybe the female Deadpool?
Spider - Man - I want the silver chain link iron costume :(
Taskmaster - UDON
Magneto - House of M duds
She-hulk - ??? I don't know much of her
Dommaru - Classic design
Hawkeye - Ronin outfit maybe?
Ghost rider - idk
Strange - His animated movie duds
Iron fist - obviously his new sleeker design

The fighting game lineup for Vita is already looking great: this, SFxT and BB:CS all on the go will rock.

If I hadn't just bought a new PS3, I would put my name down for sure.

This kind of reminds me of Tager. I always did well against him with Bang, but a single hit fucked my plans completely.

I am not looking forward to fighting The Hulk...

I myself keep my head shaved bald. I have very thin hair and am already starting to bald, so I couldn't really do anything with my hair, and nothing would look even decemnt. So I thought I'd try shaving it off completely, and it actually fits me. :P
 
I don't see anything wrong with Firebrand as anchor. He's a good candidate for level 3 X-Factor and he can hold his own without assists pretty well.

I just get it trimmed really, nothing too fancy.
 
I wonder if Max will put out another Marvel changelog video today. Friday and Saturday will probably be pretty busy and he has got to cover fourteen more Marvel characters before he starts covering Capcom characters next week.

Today I bought 2 packs of Pringles after my tournament run in which I got bodied by Lariat. They will be well flavored by tomorrow when the changelog hits.

Hulk armor has always been a scary thing, but now he's getting even more of it. The thing that has me the most interested in him though is the wall bounces some of his moves gained. Hulk's worst enemy in combos was that when he did anything it was small without heavy assist usage. Even though he still has to gamma tsunami to keep OTG his stuff he'll be able to take his time getting to that point now since he has a few new ways to bounce them around the screen so that he can continue with things he starts for longer periods.

Longer Hulk combos...God what a world we live in soon. Mike Ross for top tier?

Also has anyone here ever used Hulk with Arthur fire bottle assist? Does it allow for an OTG after air combos thats long enough for him to dash up reset?
 
I really don't think he's getting that 3 points of armor. That is a major change and would've definitely been mentioned by Capcom or Max.

Hulk would be even stronger because the rushdown characters have been nerfed and zoners have been buffed. Armored moves would make him a great answer to zoners like Ghost Rider, while other characters will have problems with them.

Eh.

I'm unconvinced.

Without standing H 3 hits of armor, he'll still be free even close-up to people like Zero (who will explode in usage). Zero can even zone him (armored gamma charges only have one point of armor, Buster does more than one hit).

Taskmaster has multi-hit moves, anyone who can spam light attack can get by close up armor if standing H has only point of armor....

How many hits do the chains from Ghost Rider do?

I'll still use him. I main him on a team now and planned to keep the same team as an alt team, but I have a lot of doubts he'll be much better....especially if even more zoning teams appear due to the buffs.

It's odd to say, but he doesn't have enough armor :).

I like how the Armor is perfectly fitted for his biceps and forearm muscles lol.
 
I'm not surprised that we haven't got anything for FW and RR.

They haven't hint anything about reveal like they did with PW, so someone need to keep the eyes on twitters to see if they are going to reveal anything.

You mean something official or what?

Well we have this + the RR leak from the same guy that leaked everything legit thus far + comments about Frank and how his camera plays a larger role this time around and can be powered up.

I mean I love new info, but we got more than usual on these two already.

No I meant Trailers. They usually tease upcoming updates for UMVC3, but they haven't. I am afraid to wait for next week because I want to know what's new with Frank West since he was my main in TvC.
