Maybe rape has lost some of it's oomph since it became synonymous with victory in sports/games. And Hate Fuck is such a brute, awful sounding word.

Either way, the husband has the first comment on that FB-post. I wonder if that means he was in on it the whole time. Or if he didn't know and ruined everything by making her report it to the police.
I'd say it's much more along the lines of Seduce & Destroy. There's often a misogynistic slant, wherein you want to get a girl's hopes up about a romantic relationship, and then see them emotionally shattered when you toss her to the curb after a one night stand. Either that or there's a narcissistic slant, wherein you want to bring a girl over to your line of thinking or way of life, purely through your sexual prowess.
And in some other way, it could be about weirdly resolving the tension between your physical attraction towards a girl's looks and your psychological revulsion towards her personality and ideas. Sexually conquering her lets you to remove her attractive mystique, allowing for a more pure hatred that isn't tinted by your lustful impulses.
In any case, I think it's very rarely about rape.....but I certainly see how it can be construed as such.

I never thought the term "hate fuck" was something realted to rape / sexual assault. I always thought it meant something like, "well if she's down, I'll fuck her good an hard" kind of a thing with regards to someone one might not care for. I think my biggest problem with those posts she made is how she defiantly told UW to leave the post up, acting all brave against an imaginary foe. Makes a mockery of those victims who are brave enough to go public against their aggressors, while putting an unfair amount of pressure on those who are still too frightened to come forward.
