DAM they blew the whole season's CGI on Drogon in episode 6 :\
I hate to be snarky, but... I hope the CG budget for the season wasn't that low.

I haven't felt like this for years, but I am starting to think that Lady Stoneheart might actually show up.
Emilia Clarke's acting has been better than average this season. At least, I don't hate her nearly as much.
Somethings clearly up. They've name dropped the trial too many times for it to go well. But Cersei losing is also what everyone expects so i'm betting on some kind of other swerve.Feels like a huge foreshadowing of Cersei losing that trial by combat happened today.
Yeah this is interesting and obviously still pretty ambiguous at this point. Dragonglass is both the source and undoing of the White Walkers power.- So Benjen is clearly taking Coldhands' role here. Which is funny after that theory got explicitly shot down for the books, they make it real for the show. Benjen feeding Bran blood has some eerie parellels to some of the book stuff where Coldhands feeds Bran what is clearly human meat, and the Jojenpaste stuff. Preparing him for Meerapaste? Also the dragon glass stuff seems like kind of a big reveal? It's not just a weapon but a vaccine?
I've been in camp "it's not happening" since it didn't happen at the end of s3 (and personally I think it's the right decision), but yeah...I kinda wouldn't be totally blown away if it happens at this point. They've set up every book element that's present in the Riverlands plot after this episode.I haven't felt like this for years, but I am starting to think that Lady Stoneheart might actually show up.

Can we get zombie Grey Wind with Robb's head instead?Twist: it will be Zombie Robb, wolfhead and all.
The amount of Bloodraven involvement in the D&E novels is pretty staggering and requires multiple reads or just being flat out told.
Hell yes. Buy A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. It's all 3 D&E stories collected together along with some illustrations. Are the D&E stories worth reading?
Quick reads and I enjoyed them. Can listen to them on audiobook too.Are the D&E stories worth reading?

Jon killed one last season with his sword. Can Valerian steel kill white walkers? If not, what is the purpose of it from a story standpoint?

I bet it was Bran. It's always his fault.Right after the episode ended, someone accidentally screamed "Dracarys!"
Dany needs another army now.
It definitely can. That's the only reason they showed Sam stealing Heartsbane.

Yes. I haven't read them in awhile, but the first story, at least, I think is as good as anything you'll find in the main books. I didn't quite like the second two as much, but they're still good.
Oh you mean Robb Zombie?Twist: it will be Zombie Robb, wolfhead and all.
I must be in minority thinking that if they do Stoneheart I feel now is the best time rather than season 4.
I think it balances out the Jon reveal. Now that he is alive and pretty much unchanged I feel like there needs to be something to show that resurrection can be risky business and shouldn't be done lightly.

I'm starting to believe last seasons quality may have been the writers waiting for grrm to release his book. So many reveals this season and almost nothing last season except hardhome? I imagine if that was the case d&d must have been pissed to spin their wheels for a season for a book that never even came out. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure would explain a lot.
They keep name-dropping the trial because a certain gravedigger is going to show up to fight for the Faith.
No question at this point in my mind.
They keep name-dropping the trial because a certain gravedigger is going to show up to fight for the Faith.
I mean it will make so much sense. Cersei is going to roll up with the zombie mountain and be like LOOK AT HOW AWESOME HE IS. The Sparrow in contrast will be like well I found but a humble gravedigger to fight your monster.
This feels like fanfiction.

That's what happens when you base a show on a book that will never release.
I mean, it technically is.This feels like fanfiction.
I imagine tons of casual viewers going ''who'' at Benjen, Blackfish and Edmure.
