Romney's winning so far. Obama is actually correct, but to the layperson Romney sounds reasonable and as if he knows what he's talking about, and his contradictions are less obvious than some others he has made in the past.

Romney was also smart to back off on Libya. His Libya attacks have self-destructed every time to date, so it's smart to leave it be.

Basically, Romney is talking about foreign affairs, and Obama is talking about Romney talking about foreign affairs.

Romney is just bullshitting about what we should do but won't say how.

Romney's eyes are starting to water up already

Anybody know what's up with Willard's speech? The geopolitical/security threat distinction? Pretty shady for the POTUS to charge that ANGLE if the statement is as Mittens says it is.

Romney specifically said geopolitical threat. Obama jumped the gun on that one, but he made his point regarding Romney's priorities.

You're watching a different debate than I am.

Can someone explain to me why the hell Republicans care about 30,000 people in Syria getting killed?

Obama is killing this.

yeah, he's working from a position of strength- Romney has literally no experience at ALL in foreign policy.

Obama is pulling "here's what I've done, and here is what worked" and there's no real way for Mitt to deal with it.

i feel so conflicted, romney spitting game that i can agree on. but i don't trust him that this is the same game he'll spit if he gets power.

Romney's goal in this debate is clear. Just try to pair up with the president so that you don't look like a fool and let this be more targeted towards domestic policies where Obama is a bit weaker.

I feel like Romney's saying the same thing Obama did on Syria. Not really surprising considering Ryan seemed to say the same thing during the VP debate.

Mitt isn't really saying Obama is doing anything wrong. Not really drawing any contrasts between himself and Obama; he's just fresstyling.

I feel like the incumbent always has the advantage in foreign policy bc you get briefed daily. Unless it's a macro issue like a war that everyone is aware of in great detail.

"The president isn't doing enough about Syria! But we shouldn't get involved militarily and we should do exactly what he says he's doing."
