Yep. Romney wrapped this up tonight.
He did what he needed to do. 1. Avoid getting dragged into Obama's desperate, immature personal attacks and lies and 2. lay out a firm vision for the world's future.
Simply stunning.

I would guess what you're saying is sarcasm but you sat the exact same shit in every debate thread.

lol awesome

1. Fox News says stuff different from other news outlets

2. They explain it by saying the others have a liberal bias and they are not

3. People believe them

FOX is terribly right (which people on the right say they're unbiased)
MSNBC is the FOX equivalent on the left (which people on the left say they're unbiased)
Most other news outlets will lean left, but that's because the type of person who typically goes into journalism is probably going to hold values closer to the left, not because CBS producers or whoever wake up and say "Let's spin the news to what I want people to believe!" the way FOX or MSNBC do

I have a feeling that the CNN talking heads are being fed the results of the snap polls, because they're more sounding like Romney got his ass kicked.

"Saturated fat causes heart disease as much as Brawndo is what plants crave."
Romney's performance was so bad I would not be surprised if Florida and Virginia become legit tossups again.

Romney cowardly reversed on critical stances on foreign policy that has direct impact on the lives on our soldiers. It showed weakness. His rambling and physical language, along with a lack of any policy difference other than "I'm going to get jobs gooder" was transparent.

Romney laid out a firm vision of the future, in that he'll fight the bad men and make things happy for the good men, and it'll be just like that guy's plan except waaay better just trust me

Romney's foreign policy is the equivalent of that kid from kindergarten cop

"Our lasers protect us from the bad people"

Obama clearly won because GAF's conservatives sound more unhinged than usual.

They do have that tell.

They probably know that this was Mitt's last chance to change the trajectory. He's gotten close, but he just.. can't.. quite.. close.. that.. firewall.. ..gap.

What a pity.

I just don't get why the Republican strategy is to just outright declare "the election is over we have won" in totally conclusory terms instead of just expressing some kind of reasoned optimism.

One thing I will say, even based off GAFers, it's clear the conservatives on here live in some sort of warped alternative reality. When Obama lost the first debate, Dems on here agreed (nearly all of them anyway) he lost it, when it's the opposite, the conservatives show a hilarious degree of denial. Sums it up I think.

Stay classy LiberalGAf. I'll see you in the election thread.

Inevitable meltdown incoming. See you there!

It's so fun to watch though

Stupid question here. If Obama wins re-election is he still considered number 44? Lol, or is he also 44 and 45? Yep, reeeeeeeaaaaly dumb question.

I'm guessing it goes literally by number of presidents and not number of administrations?
Yeah, the only President to be counted twice is Grover Cleveland, because he served non-consecutive terms.

"Obama has driven the biggest wedge we've had with Israel in a long time..." "What is the wedge?" "The wedge is the fact that he has not been supportive of Israel"

Well, gotta say Obama did better in this debate.

It saddens me that foreign policy is now mainly talking points about military involvement. Very little humanitarian discussions or talk about atrocities that are happening outside of the middle east region.

The mainstream conservatives did the same thing. At least Dems admitted they were very upset with Obama's performance. But that's what you expect from the reasonable party of the country.

It's truly stunning that we have a credible candidate who stands for virtually nothing. How anyone can feel good about voting for him is beyond me. How can you even know what policies you're voting for?

As a Brit, I genuinely fear for America if Romney wins. No specifics. No plan. It's embarrassing to think that he stands a chance of becoming the leader of the most powerful Western country in the world.

Seriously, what did Romney do that was so great? He mostly agreed with what Obama is doing. Plus he got called out for comments he's made in the past.
