Hey GAF, I just got home from work. Did not wanted to miss this debate and power went out so I lost the DVR. I been looking around but can not find a half decent replay of the debate. Anyone know of one or can point me in a good direction? Thanks in advance.

They are voting to get rid of Obama. Any warm body would have done, but the Republicans have to settle for Romney.

Yep, and to be fair, many of GAF's liberals are unhinged, too. But GAF's liberals (and liberals in general) express their insanity differently from GAF's conservatives (and conservatives in general): whereas liberals succumb to reality, conservatives deny it. Comparing the different debate threads is pretty revealing in this regard.

Did not watch the debate. Who won? My sources say the re-animated corpse of John McCain really hit one out of the park. My other sources say McCain isn't dead. And the prior sources said "duh, that's what makes him undead." And this back and forth bickering continued for a while and is in fact still occuring in the other room. What say you, GAF?

Nah Obama would be the conservative in most of the european countries but being open to change for the people.

Never saw a debate about so fucking outdated topics like abortion or discussions about a candidate being not christian.
People would laugh at someone who would mention something like that.
(Not the actual debate, the months before thoose debates)


Germany television or mainly the political expert who made his comments after the debate saw a close win for Obama.

His points were that Romney had a hard time because Obama can rely on his experiences as president something Romney cannot.
Apart from that he pointed out Obama mentioned important factors for him,like mentioning Ohio quite a lot or providing aid for soliders who are coming home.

I can see that for a certain segment of the population, but Romney's way too competitive while having absolutely no steady policy positions. Those voters can't possibly be paying attention.

i say john mccain would be undead if he was dead and now isn't, but it really depends on the amount of time between death and living or undeath.

They had a 92 year old woman on TV who said she'd be voting for Romney because she still has medical bills and nothing has changed and she wanted to give Romney a shot. That being said, it's NY so her vote doesn't matter but how come people are that stupid? Does she want MORE medical bills?
