I think it's around 6,000 yen (60$). But I'm not sure if you can use an american credit card on the jp store. You might have to import a jp psn card, and at that point you might as well just get the physical copy.

If you don't have a Japanese credit card though you'll have to fill up with PSN cards. Closest increment is a 10,000 yen card or you can combine a 1,000 yen and 5,000 yen card, but will get you less per dollar at those increments.

If you've gone this long without knowing about it, what's another week or two? With a physical copy you'll be able to play it on your US account without formatting/using a second memory card and still get trophies to boot.
 
Having just bought a Vita I'm shocked at how poorly priced the retail games are (in the UK anyway)
went in my local GAME and saw Everybody's Golf (Hot Shots is the same game I believe) I can buy it for £6.99 on the store but for a preowned retail copy it was £27.99. Plus the choice of retail games was actually quite poor I think they had 5 new games on the shelf and 5 preowned.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing or is it an isolated incident?

Nice...new thread! Looks like a good month for Vita. IGC Soul Sac should pump some new blood into multiplayer. A great game and deserves to be played by more people.
 
I got a good amount of post last Vita thread for someone coming so late. I wonder why it'll be next time since I'm here from the start lol.

Looking at the calendar made me realize the last game I'll be buying for myself this year is Tearaway lol. I have to save my money for others since the holidays is near.
 
Just used my my $50 eBay coupon to score a 32gb card for $15. Got several games to play thanks to PS+ and some sales. Just need to damn Vita. Five weeks til Black Friday....

You should have went for the 64gb instead. I just bought the Vita and my 32gb is almost full. Granted I downloaded every demo and free to play :p

Unless there isn't a 64gb card on Ebay.

Eh. I'll trade up if I get there. I'm going to be playing a lot of indie and PS1 games, alongside a few bigger Vita games. I'll split that last category between digital PS+ offerings and a few retail games here and there. I won't be gaming outside my home very much. This is a way to game on the couch and in bed when time allows, so my PS3 won't ever be far if I need to remove or install a game.

I can't decide. I prefer being all digital until someone posts a huge physical collection, and then I get pangs of regret. That said, I went digital largely because I was sick of seeing shelves full of video games. The grass is always greener...

Good for you. My PS3 got broken and I got the YLOD that's why the 64gb is more appealing to me. I dunno how to fix it so its there on my TV collecting dust.

We actually culled our entire physical library. Pulled the CDs out of the boxes and tossed the boxes.

Now all of our games are contained within a CD sleeve book.

But I can't do that with Vita games, because Carts (especially these ones) are completely impossible to keep quite like that.

Hehe I did that with my PS2 games too. I wish someone would make a PS Vita case or something.

Don't forget about FFX! Unless you plan to go physical only with that one.

Btw. The PSX FF games run faster on the US account. Perhaps you should consider that account if you plan to play them.

Not happening. Ys is a third party game and hasn't even been released. Even more so, the PSP Ys games not only have never been on Plus, but they have never even gotten a discount (in the US store at least).

FFX and X-2 I will pick up physically if they come out as carts in the UK.

Double-dipping with them as I'm also getting the PS3 version.

I hope XII eventually comes to :)
 
I got Killzone last week and am loving it. Sometimes I can't get over how good it looks! Really enjoying single plAyer and haven't actually touched vs yet. Did the beta and am familiar with KZ, so I know what I'm in for, but I wanted to give some props to the story mode for being pretty interesting and fun!
