anyone have madden here, how is it? I played the demo and it was rough but i think the actual game as better and it had a patch. Is it half way decent?

Rent paid, November... finally pre-ordered Injustice & Tearaway. Not sure of Ys will get charged on the 26th, but it's been pre-ordered for awhile too. Wonder what's coming digitally this month? Luftrausers? Runner 2?

The last two days I have been playing a lot Quell Memento, is really a nice puzzle game, with a bit of narration the sets the mood. I think is one of those little know gems of Vita's catalogue.

Finally, someone else who bought Quell Memento. Such a great puzzle game, great UI, nice presentation... just fun, and good. First few days I had it I powered through a whole bunch of levels getting the secrets in every one... had it for probably 6 months and still go into it once a week or so to knock out a few more levels.

That's kinda cool... and disturbing. I find disturbing thinking it's kinda cool. Does that pillow nake people faster? xD

Shit, this afternoon a friend tried to hook me to LoL. I have my own account, but he was talking me in an unknown lenguage that was a weird mix of english and spanish (I understood something thanks to WoW, but there where quite some terms I didn't get at all).

I'm pretty bad at it, and I don't know if it's my kind of game. But I get why people love it.

Just came back from gstop to preorder BD. A mom bought her son a Vita....with

Japan is getting it first and I'm impatient.

Throw her some Tearaway / LBP covers like they were shurikens! She needs to feed her child with proper games. You don't want him to try drugs? Raise him as a socially unskilled hardcore gamer!

PS: What means BD?

Got a friend/coworker to give the Vita a shot a few days ago. He went into it with the "Vita has games?" mindset, I let him play Hotline Miami for 10 minutes and he got reeeaally engrossed. Jumped about a foot off his chair when someone came into the breakroom. He really enjoyed it, saying that he's either going to get a Vita TV or Vita 2000 when it comes out over here. Portable Hotline Miami blew his mind.

Also, that God Eater 2 trailer has got me very close to preordering it with my Akiba's Trip 2 order since it looks GREAT, and just in case there's another situation like with the Misaka, Madoka, and Anime Tenchou DLC costumes in GEB that were never localized.

GE2 looks good, right - not a type of game I have much experience with. Some of the fiends seem a bit slow to respond to what you are doing though?

VitaBros assemble, is there a way to disable the "would you like to connect to WiFi" pop up or is it game enforced? Annoying as fuck, cost me goals, lives etc... really silly.

I haven't seen a global setting (unless you put it in airplane mode then the game really shouldn't ask to connect). There is a shortcut to turn it on since one of the recent firmwares - hold the PS button for a few seconds and the connectivity options are at the top.

IIRC KZ:M asks how you want to default. Although it sounds like a different game if it's popping up during gameplay? :S

^ True, but at least there should be a shift to traditional on the whole if you know what I mean - like where possible they will implement normal controls to maximize compatibility and less work for them.

As opposed to just using the touch and leaving out the controls because well, it's a new feature, use it and can't be bothered.

Basically just curbstomping some of the laziness, or making sure it switches from touch to buttons :)

When the control implementation is as good as it can get but isn't exactly ideal, add some touchscreen buttons for Vita owners.

Losing out on the scaler/video out so that Sony can sell Vita TV is worth it for vita v1 owners I reckon - sales to encourage more games, which is the biggest one, but even the thing we're talking about.

---OH shit, just realised some devs might gimp the game I guess..(in terms of the things you can do for a more consistent experience), probably what you were implying... yeah damn. I still expect Vita to sell a lot better, Vita TV owners (+ps4) grabbing vitas down the line as well, so hopefully damage in those terms will be limited...but yeah, would killzone still have had the awesome motion sensor for shooting if Vita TV was as popular as Vita? ... hopefully. I guess Sony still wants to push the extra inputs at least, otherwise what's the point. Third parties though? More products is so annoying lol.

Man in vk3 there's a bounty mission where i need to kill a nightmare girl named Napoli Pisa lol, well she is alone but able to kill my entire clan with a single spell! One time i wasn't even able to go close to her lol...
The bad thing is that even the story mission is hard, but maybe not as hard as the bounty, so now i'm blocked, i need lot of grinding.
If only silence had higher chances of success...

This sounds so cool. Let's make it our official call to arms. :)

You realize that some of the implementation stems from a lack a of triggers, and analog buttons, right? Vita TV isn't suddenly going to add those to the portable Vitas.

Yep, I know. I just want that games that really don't need touch elements not to force them just because "Vita has touchscreen". Simple as that.

I just got it yesterday and I already have a problem with it. The memory card management is total horseshit. I redeemed a code for TWD, which hung the system preparing to download. After waiting forever, I had to power off the Vita to get out of it. Apparently the Vita reserved the space for the game but didn't add an icon for it, so I can't get that space back. I'd have to format the card. This is messed up.

Bought a second 16GB memory card instead of a larger size, what have I done

wtf have you done indeed.

updating database, 2%

That download store error is sounding really horrible. Can't imagine what I would have done today with transferring to my new card. It was bad enough my internet went out the moment I wanted to start the backup (and hadn't downloaded the latest version of opencma that I had recommended the day before lol). Ended up having to link my phone to my laptop...so I can transfer things from my vita -__- the vita doesn't tell you about needed an internet connection either, it says stuff like you sure it's on?

They said they'd update some official thread when they fixed it - lots have been complaining about it I guess.

my ninja gaiden save file corrupted or something, wasn't all that far... again I guess ;'( - I'd probably need the training build up after so long away anyway.

you had a duty ;) must have hurt not to impose!

I dunno, 16GB cards are pretty awesome. Big enough to hold a few games, not too big that you're frozen with indecision every time you start up.

Not really says vita 64GB masterace.

But seriously wheres vita travelGAF or anyone else who is excited that you dont have to shut down portable devices on planes anymore. The plane ride today was great.

Graphically it's like Madden 06-08. It is native rez. Menu's are kinda laggy in-game. I like it for what it is. Plays just like madden on the big boys. your system will get warmer from play.

Welp, my US copy of Valhalla Knights 3 finally arrived yesterday. I now have 49 physical retail Vita games. (´_ゝ`) I guess Tearaway will be the 50th. That or Akiba's Trip 2.

Man November is dirty for Vita owners with PS+ (so basically all Vita owners)

Any ideas what the big 3 yearly PS+ games are gonna be after Uncharted, GR and Wipeout swap out?

Finally bought TitS for my Vita. Seems like it's going to be a challenging game? Already ran into a bit of trouble right from the beginning after becoming jr bracers. Is it a tough game throughout?

Do Vita digital and retail games share the same save? I'm downloading Rayman Origins right now and was hoping to continue off my retail game save. Otherwise, I'll cancel it right now.

^ I *think* so...might want to wait on confirmation if your downloads are capped or something. Pretty sure though, maybe there is an exception? None come to mind (unless there's a difference in the region between retail and digital versions).

Still working on Sly:TiT, challenge is fairly low-medium imo, so far anyway. Platforming pleasantly surprised me but not in the jump on goomba sense. Sly is so versatile (after getting used to his hop mechanic (and accepting it lol)). I'd have gotten a lot further in it if the zzzzzzz loading times.

That is a worry and a good point - I'm trying to arrange my games very carefully to avoid that. I enjoy doing it though and I've always been a hoarder when it comes to games.

Still, he already had one hah! Now he has two, seems a tad inconvenient.

Got 33 Vita games on my 64GB card. Have 6.8GB free and have 10 more games to fill it. I need a 128 card.

128 would have been very comfortable going into the next year or two. Although it'd need like a 300 game limit.

In some cases it just works, in others you have to use Playstation Plus to upload your save to cloud storage. Then delete the bubble for the retail version, then install the digital version, then download the save file from PS+.

I see Novocaine owns Invizimals. I demand impressions, stat!

Just the demo. I need to get up from my gaming chair to get to well lit areas for the AR stuff so I haven't gotten very far in that yet. I'll do that now. Not sure how extensive the demo is though.

Does anyone else want Yaiba ninja gaiden z to come to the vita? I really loved sigma plus and Sigma 2 plus. So seeing how those two came to the vita maybe yaiba's got a chance.

Pipedream.
I'd like to see it happen, but your chances are probably <1%.
Even if it did, there'd be no guarantee that it would run decently and not be the dumpster fires that were NGS+ and NGS2+. :lol

I wish I could get into Ninja Gaiden. I've never had an enjoyable experience with any of those games that I've tried, maybe it's just not for me.
*goes back to eagerly awaiting Tearaway*

Wipeout games on the next page, about a GB left, making room for Tearaway and Luftrausers hopefully, otherwise Proteus. Spelunky if the patch comes in. WRC4 if I crack, will have to let stuff go :(

For the time being, I'd rather just sit and look at my screen than play anything. I don't think it's trouble picking a game but more, well, just satisfaction really.

Okay, a bit of trouble choosing.

Actually maybe the screenshot is better:

Hmm, maybe a phone pic is better, one sec.

Vita has no games.

I actually find it amazing that such a small device can hold all that stuff and still have room for more.

Vita isn't doing too badly, no! I know exactly what you mean as well - apart from the having room for more* :P I read someone describe it as a steamboy and it feels spot on for me.

*1GB is okay I guess, but I like to leave at least 400MB just in case I browse a large youtube video or something like that. Will have to delete...something...hmm for Tearaway though, it won't be too difficult. Hopefully I can enjoy it for a few weeks without having to do any more transferring! Although it wasn't too bad this time, except for the internet hitches on my end in the beginning.

I know that screenshot may be downright depressing for some of you rpg fans :P Just think of all the bubbles you could replace!

Tomorrow will begin work on filling up that 32 with games that didn't make the cut, better than being in limbo I guess.

I can't bring myself to use folders for anything -- they just don't look good.
I wish you could pick a "folder icon" or something...

I really wish you could as well, though when I load the PSX bubble which is full, it feels like it's almost hanging, not sure it would manage (smoothly) with a background. I'm pretty used to the bubbles now though.

Lot of clicking around as well with so many pages - I wish you could hold a trigger and then be able to jump pages with Leftstick/d-pad up [or even just the right stick]

Only folder I use is for the default sony apps that I never touch like welcome park

It's not so bad spread out with 16GBx2! :P

It's not difficult unless you don't use S breaks. Where did you have trouble?

Just out in the fields trying to get acquainted with the battle system. I would often run out of the EP? so that I could use her heal spell that I had on her. Money doesn't seem abundant so buying a bunch of potions seems out of the question. No heal point nearby. You can get kind of stuck. But I just started the game so maybe I am missing something?

I think the whole presentation and idea around it seems really charming and original, but I wasn't sure about the actual puzzling.
