Watched any low budget movies lately?

★★★★☆ / The math was spot on during this entire movie.

Liked the last scene a lot. I hated the main character, I'd love a sequel where she gets killed right off the bat.
Not sure the budget was that low either. Looking at the responses, there's a pretty wide interpretation of low budget haha.
Primer was apparently shot with a $7000 budget. Definitely worth a look

Archive on Amazon. Sorta kinda a rip off of Ex Machina with a few twists. So low budget they could only afford one expression on the leads face and the human is clearly visible in the 2nd Gen robot suit.

I rewatched Primer recently, only saw it once before, still a really cool time travel concept framed in a way that is way more believable than most time travel stories and concepts.

it's also among the most logically consistent time travel movies as it doesn't seem to fall into any major plot holes like basically every other time travel movie does (Biff returning the DeLorean to the same timeline he got it from in BTTF2 being one of the biggest omes out there)

Anyone know where I can get copies of the movies in this video?

Been on a bit of a barbarian movie kick lately:

It's got a more aloof hero than your average Conan fare, and considerably more tits, but the real standout is the evil sorceror Munkar:

Dude is clearly a cut above the rest of the cast, and is probably the best representation of the archetype I've seen in a sword and sorcery flick.
It has a good hag as well, though she doesn't get much screen time beyond throwing a snake at a guy and issuing the call to action.

You could certainly do worse as barbarian movies go - namely with Deathstalker 2 and 3 where the series slips into straight parody before half-heartedly trying to recapture the original magic in 4 :messenger_winking_tongue:

Watched this the other night, harrowing doesnt cut it. Utterly brilliant casting and setting and a look into something so abhorrent said by someone so innocent that gets taken the wrong way, which can so easily happen to anyone

I dont think there was a scene where you didnt feel bad for Mads but could also see the other point of view

Excellent film 👍

Going to watch 'Another round' later. I do love a bit of Mads.

Not a movie, but a discussion of Danny Trejo dick pills:

The oak room

I liked it, the dialogue is great. It has mixed reviews as it has good critic reviews but low audience reviews which is a bit weird.

Viscious fun is really good, one the better horror / comedy movies that has come out recently. It's on Shudder

This thing was budget as fuck. No name actors, a hand full of small sets that are reused endlessly, questionable cgi, filmed in australia for tax breaks, just like wb is doing now for their next monsterverse movie. I get that they didnt want to give an r rated game adaptation a massive budget, but frankly, this was just embarrassing from a studio like wb.

The time fuckery pseudo trilogy. The first two movies are directly interconnected, the last is linked but is somewhat it's own thing. Budget goes up as you progress, the middle film is the sweet spot.

Damn that movie in the OP is really low budget….. Danny was never a huge actor but that shit is just sad to see

Wind River

It's a pretty basic cop and murder mystery film, but it stars some really good actors and the pacing never lets it down. Predictable ending but I enjoyed it.

Terrifier 2 (2022).

Shit was fucked up. Not sure if i loved it or hated it, but definitely feel something lol.
