Omg not again! They were for sale before and decided it was stupid decision because nobody gave the amount they were asking! Also everyone now is betting in gaming and WB wants to leave? Nah I do not think so.

Makes the most sense for Sony to leverage those IP into joint movie content as well as game perhaps? Give the superhero genre to Sucker Punch to own.
 
Microsoft could be interested but they can't do anything right now until FTC decides about Actibliz, which could take a while. So maybe Tencent...
 
So not actually WB, just their studios and IP's excluding DC stuff

It will be Sony. And you all know it. They are literally looking for a Fighting Studio.

Only under Sony Rocksteady will be able to show his true potential and become the second Insomniac, in terms of performance and quality.
 
Hope someone buys them. Can't be motivating working under a corp with no vision for gaming that treats you like the ugly unwanted stepson.

Do you think we are in for a seilrious lul in gaming ( worse than what we currently have) and every big publisher or developer is just praying they get bought ASAP after the covid bump while the stocks at the highest?

Then the companies are just left trying to manage these huge ass employee numbers and games that aren't making enough money.

I dunno, I just think something is going on with all these buys.

I feel bad for NRS. Their games sell a ton and MK is a giant IP. They should just go independent tbh but it will never happen.
 
It seems WB Games price should be around $4 billion. Sony could buy them for the superhero games... Make them work with Insomniac and Sucker Punch.

Most likely everyone will buy several studios and that will be the end of it.
No one will offer even two billion for all of them.
