Combine that with the relative freshness of threads that started similarly where the initial report was false. But that's just my experience and I get why other people would be inclined to believe otherwise. Either way, there is no certainty so seeing people call for these people to be "named and shamed", fired from their jobs, etc. is dangerous. Also, Black Mirror.

I can understand why you feel that way, I mean i'm not saying this is definitely not fake either.

I've had people give me a compliment just to set themselves up for the ability to safely trash others in broad strokes. You can tell they genuinely think they're being nice with it, too.
