What annoys you that YouTube Creators do?

Also I want to talk about video topics that just make me wonder 'who finds this entertaining':

- I bought a broken <insert electronic device here>, can I fix it

- I ordered <games> from Gamestop, here's what they sent me

Lots of really lame puns, and overreacting. If you are making a tutorial video i just want to pay attention to what you are doing, I don't need you to make the video longer by inserting a bunch of lame puns.

If you are doing a cooking video or otherwise food review don't overreact. There are a bunch of food content creators that act like everything they eat or cook is the greatest thing they have tasted in their entire lives. One of the more popular food reviewers on youtube says "Wow!" And makes an amazed expression for like 5 seconds while starring directly into the camera on every review I've seen him do. The first time I watched one of his videos I thought about trying the particular food he was reviewing but after I watched enough to realize he has the same reaction to everything he eats I lost all interest.

Also for food reviewers, please try to actually describe tastes compared to other foods or common smells. I realize this is difficult but if you don't even try and just say "that's amazing" then I really have no idea if I'm interested. Some of these reviewers would give wet dog poop 5 stars and a "Wow, that's amazing."

A lot that has been said in the OP and others already.

a lot of them are insanely uncreative. They all have a similar look, feel, and presentation; from edit-cuts, jokes (timing and presentation) to advertisements and music selections. For every YouTuber “creator” that regurgitate news articles (politics, gaming, etc.) there are a plethora of others doing the same shit. Additionally, from the little I’ve seen from Twitter and Tik-too, the same thing applies.

I hate you and I hate everything you stand for.
Your segue ways aren't clever and your videos suck for wasting my time with this shit.
Fuck your intros, your shitty attempts at humor and stop the damn jump cuts. It makes Taken with Liam Neeson look like Blade Runner (the good one from 1982).
God, YouTube went to shit when Google bought it.
SponsorBlock can block sponsors, intros and other crap
You're a God among men.

"Let's fucking go" scream. The most annoying shit I've heard in my history of YouTube watching. It's the equivalence of listening to 009 Sound System songs on every YT vid 10 years ago.

The overall lack of creativity and originality is what's killing Youtube for me right now (other than the curated mainstream media bullshit).

Whenever you have an interesting youtuber break out you'll have several bigger youtubers stealing whatever interesting ideas they had. One that comes to mind immediately is this dude PhilSoloTV. He started doing videos where he would go to the worst reviewed mexican restaurant, or hotel in his town and he would review it. Within a few weeks, Daym Drops was doing the same shit and then Vice also jacked the idea.

I hate when they stretch out 2mins of info into 10. Pretty popular amoung rdr2 content creators as they don't have much to update on.
This is my number 2 issue with youtube in general right now. Most creators stretch any small thing out to a 10-20 minute video. In terms of gaming channels that guy Yongyea is offensively bad with this. Instead of skipping around, I just stopped watching people that do this. They end up rephrasing what they said 4 different ways, I don't have time for that shit.

-begging for likes and subs in every video

-paid for ad anywhere that isn't the end of the video

-tag along friends who later join the channel

-people who have super annoying voices

-jumping up or popping your head into frame is super played out

-constant attempts at humor peppered throughout when you're not fucking funny, nobody cares about your shitty memes and references

Open mouth soy face in the thumbnails.

That linus guy is particularly annoying...

Instead of boxing MMA guys maybe Jake Paul should just beat the shit out of this dude. He's the skinny version of Greg Miller.

NO PAIN TRANCE CONTINUE
Being highly critical and having almost no patience coupled with supernatural reaction speed regarding recognizing all the hallmarks that have already been mentioned I myself have minor interaction with these issues on a day to day basis. With that said, if a content creator uses those hard cuts between sentences, even if he/she is the best to watch regarding it's content I'll immediately nope out

With that said OP's question is extremely context dependent seeing as I can tolerate ads, merch plugging etc if the remaining 95% of the content is of high quality. It like.. depends man.. lol

Edit: I'll excuse a lot of BS if the person(s) are likable and overall content is good

Click bait thumbnails or titles
Stealing/emulating a well known creators format
Regurgitating info you (just) read online
Reviews that are just advertisements
Video Reaction/rebuttal videos
Shameless trailer reposts
Creator “cross overs”
Reviews of a product just purchased but not used
So probably 90% annoys the sheet out of me.

Thread got me to realize Youtube is nothing other than the classic infomercial channel back in the 90s nowadays haha.
But the weird thing is Infomercials from what I remember were better and more interesting than a lot of youtubers content..
Like this one with Alice Cooper doing a five minute ad for a compilation cd box:

It's up front with it being an ad and stil manage to be somewhat watchable (relatively.... )

Open mouth soy facers. Smash that like button! Screaming while playing a game. Twenty somethings with no talent making millions doing prank videos to appeal to children.

People who try to intellectualize really really dumb fucking shit created for children like Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z.

People who shill terrible fucking crap products because they are so fucking poor.

Boyfriend and girlfriend doing videos together is always so fucking cringe but even worse is...

...spouse cameos. As if anyone gives a fuck about the annoying person you are married to.

Youtubers who for some reason have gained such an audience they literally can do fuck all anything and their NEET fanbase will still flood their comments section with stupid memes that only the other NEET fans will understand.

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
it will always be the thumbnails they create for me. Why does everyone look wide-eyed, mouths agape, in utter surprise? It's especially funny / absurd when it's a reaction video about something somber, like a dramatic film. "E-PeePee6275 REACTS to SILENCE OF THE LAMBS! HELLO CLARICE!" *image of some 40 year old man with his hair dyed blue, way too excited, climbing out of his Twitch-approved streamer chair*

Any current slang / baby talk that is currently trendy. Forcing that into your dialog and making it sound natural.

Examples,

All that shit is the equivalent of using a 80's & 90's slang like Tubular and Cowabunga and not making it sound forced,

Like I said baby talk most of it, but I had to look up Scholnged,

Here is Poggers,

The only ones I heard people actually say during a conversation was "Vibing & Lit". I was at a show a little over a year ago and I was at the bar, some guy walks up to get a beer, and starts a conversation with me. He saw me nodding my head and went "You vibing bro?" I laughed and said "I guess I am."

Wasting my time with overly long introductions. If I find your video via Google because it's a bugfix or a tutorial that I specifically searched for, and it's named "How to do X", then please, within 5 seconds of the video beginning, get to the start of the explanation. I don't care who you are, why you are doing this or what you had for breakfast. I only crave the knowledge.

Also: having the same-y kind of humor. I cannot put it to words, but there are instances where Youtubers will be like: "Well, look at that website that I found! Clearly, only douchebags browse that sort of website, so, uuuhmm.... Yeah... Nevermind. *cut*" Like, intentionally making themselves look dumb or fake self deprecation. It's not cute and you are not original. Just stop it.

Lastly: annoying "memes" that interrupt the video for like 3 seconds at a time. If I am into what you are saying / showing, please no interruptions. If I want the memes, I search for the memes. Thanks.

Really? Never even seen the fats or the soys wearing the dumbass shirt of it? The Big Bang Theory is hot trash.

Onto other dumbass things YouTubers do, how about using the name "somethingsomethingPLAYS". There's millions of "somedumbassnamePLAYS". We get it you play. It's become one of the most basic filters we can use to weed out dumb shit on there.

The obvious things some of them do for #1 is the fake news clickbait title of the video, #2 clickbait thumbnails that often have nothing to do with their video.#3 Re circling old news as if its new news. And I don't like youtubers that are too biased either way.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
I hate it when I google information about how an obsure function in a program or a piece of hardware works and all I can find are videos from Youtubers who needlessly stretch out what should have been a quick 30 second tutorial into a ten minute plus video so they can get some additional ad revenues.

- Needlessly stretching out their videos. So many youtube videos are like 3 minutes of actual content stretched to like 15.

- Bitching. There's this subset of youtubers that pretty much just complain and bitch about everything. Even just limiting yourself to gaming you have people like Yongyea, The Quartering, Jim Sterling, etc that dedicate almost their entire channel to 15-25 minutes videos of them complaining about shit. It's all made with barebones production too, no well edited videos, it's either them sitting in their room showing some IGN or Kotaku screenshot or, in the case of Jim Sterling, just some completely unrelated b-roll of some random unrelated game playing in the back.
At least people like Angry Joe, who also built his channel on complaining, have some fun and well made reviews in the mix.

On the one hand, more and more people are practicing public speaking, learning how to self promote and other entrepreneurial and networking skills. On the other hand, more and more people are whoring themselves online.

He's your typical lame white guy into technology, who of course got with an Asian, just to help keep the stereotypes alive.

He once put his two cents about race during the BLM “protests.” He stated that the only way to solve the race problem was to intermarry (I wonder why). As a product of such a relationship, I found that to be disgusting. You be with whoever you want to be with.

I agree with you. I love how solving the 'race problem', which exists as such in the minds of these people, is to destroy the actual diversity of the planet (or perhaps, only white people) by mixing them all up, creating a bland sea of nothing. This man is such a simp.
