Will buy(s):

  • Forza Motorsport 7
  • GT Sport

Might buy(s):

  • XCOM 2 Expansion
  • Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy
  • WipEout Omega
  • FIFA 18
  • Project Cars 2
  • Destiny 2
  • Star Wars Battlefront II

This year is still packed for me.

Sonic Mania (PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One) – August 15
Fire Emblem Warriors (New 3DS, Switch) – fall 2017
Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) – October 27
Hearthstone – Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion (PC, Mobile) – August
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 (Switch) – September 22
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (PC, PS4, Vita) – September 26
Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console launch – September 29

I'm also seeing a bit of a trend with my buying habits this year. Mostly because Nintendo holds it's value well.

Super Mario Odyssey, Sonic Mania, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (if it makes it this year).

I'm on the fence about Battlefront II, and possibly Fire Emblem Warriors, but I'm undecided on that one too.

A lot mor than I thought:

Cuphead (PC) – September 29
Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console launch – September 29
South Park: The Fractured But Whole – (PS4) – October 17
Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) – October 27
Rime (Switch) – November 17th EU

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch) – holiday 2017

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Matterfall

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Finishing up backlog and only buying a few things for the rest of the year. I just have to hope sales don't get me caught up...

Depending on how they are received:

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
Yakuza Kiwami
Monster Hunter Stories
Metroid: Samus Returns
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
Cuphead
Middle-earth: Shadow of War
The Evil Within 2
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
Super Mario Odyssey
Etrian Odyssey 5: Beyond the Myth
Fire Emblem Warriors
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
.hack//G.U. Last Recode

For me:
Metroid Samus Returns
Super Mario Odyssey
(if I have a Switch then)

Mario+Rabbids is close to being one but I almost certainly won't have a Switch by then.
SNES mini if I could walk into a store and buy one.
Xenoblade 2 if it makes it this year and if I have a Switch then.
I'll certainly buy South Park but I think the desire to get it for much cheaper will prevent me getting it day 1.

- XCOM 2 Expansion
- Pillars of Eternity

Buy Later
- Dishonored 2 DLC
- AC Origins
- Shadow of War
- Wolfenstein 2

That's it for the rest of the year.

Wolfenstein
Evil Within 2
Yakuza Kiwami
Matterfall
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Ys 8
Metroid Samus Returns
Gundam Versus
Southpark
Dragon's Dogma HD
Tokyo Xanadu (PS4 version)

- I have zero doubt this will become one of the most ambitious games of this generation and my personal GOTY 2017. Swen is love, Swen is life.

Already have:

Fifa 18 preodered
Danganronpa V3 special edition preordered
Yakuza Kiwami preordered
Destiny 2 Preordered
Mario Odyssey Preordered
CoD: WWII preordered

Probably most excited for Danganronpa, I've been waiting for what feels like forever!

Fifa I get every other year, so I get pretty excited when it comes out.

Yakuza is Yakuza and everyone must play Yakuza because Yakuza.

Monster Hunter Stories
Metroid: Samus Returns
Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters
Culdcept: Revolt
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions
Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth

PS4

I buy all my Sony stuff digitally so I always wait for deep discounts. Senran will be an exception for the LE.

Super Mario Odyssey
Knack 2 (Yeah, I said it)
Pillars of Eternity (PS4)
CoD: WWII (PS4)
Evil Within 2 (PS4)
Wolfenstein 2 (PS4)
Xenoblade if it comes out for real
Sonic Mania (PS4)
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Ys VIII (PS4)
Gran Turismo Sport
X1X
Dragon's Dogma (PS4)

I think that is it. I buy too much shit....sheesh.

2K18 and Mario Odyssey. I will try to get the SNES classic but if not, oh well. Other than that, the rest will be purchased on sale months later....

100% Day 1:

Super Mario Odyssey
Axiom Verge (Switch)
Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ (Switch), still not released in Europe
Owlboy (Switch)
Hollow Knight (Switch)
South Park: Fractured But Whole (PS4)
SNES Mini

Pretty Sure Day 1:

Mario & Rabbids, if it Reviews well, but the Previews seem promising

Maybe Day 1:

Cuphead (XBO)
Rime (Switch)

For me, and even then it depends on if they get horrible reviews regarding glitches and stuff like that (AC Unity-like):

- Assassin's Creed Origins
- Star Wars Battlefront 2

Most likely going to focus on pc VR games then traditional games.

But definitely getting:
Yakuza Kiwami
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Mario+Rabbids
Cuphead
Dishonored 2 DLC
Divine Divinity Original Sin 2
South Park fractured but whole
Super Mario Odyssey
Wolfenstein New Colossus
Assassin Creed origins

Maybe depending on reviews:
Evil Within 2

Doubtful coming out this year:
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

vatstep

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Honestly, the second half of this year is pretty weak for me. Probably just Mario. The rest of these games I might never buy, let alone day one.

Not a single single one. The plan is to not buy a single game before the backlog is completely cleared, and then go after stuff I've already missed.

Going off your list op:

Sonic Mania
Uncharted: Lost Legacy
Yakuza Kiwami
Dishonored Death of the Outsider
Battlechasers
Vampyr

On the fence about a few such as Wolfenstein, Xcom, Pillers of Eternity.

October 24 to 27 is going to hurt.

Catching up on my backlog this summer because I'll be hopelessly busy from fall to next spring.

Just Mario and Uncharted.

Could potentially be weak and get Gran Turismo Sport even though I'm not liking the previews too much.
