I made a similar list for myself a few days ago to plan the rest of 2017.
My must have day 1 games are:
- Uncharted Lost Legacy (practically cost me $30, bought with UC4 season pass price at Best Buy)
- Destiny 2 (still debating if I get the PS4 regular $60 or the $100 Deluxe Digital. Reason is my friends will get it on PC, then I assume I'll follow them, but I ain't gonna wait a month to start playing D2, so may just double dip)
- Metroid: Samus Returns (easiest $40 of the year. Day freakin one!)
- Battle Chasers (I backed this on Kickstarter a year ago, so I am getting a PS4 copy as a result)
- Super Mario Odyssey ($60, Day one, nothing else to say)
- Super Lucky's Tale ($30 game, great price, been looking to try this for a while and an XB1 exclusive, so reason to turn the XB on again)
- Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 (Switch version, since its $40 on Amazon, and if rumors are to be believed that preorders get DLC that include the story of Xenoverse 1 on the Switch, then a no brainer)
- Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (at $30 for a rerelease, glad to replay this game. Odd a sequel never materialized)
Likely day 1 games, but waiting for more info/maybe black friday:
- Knack 2
- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy (only thing stopping me is the $80 price tag, but it is 4 complete games, the entire Naruto series and complete story on nasty good cell graphics, what's not to love)
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 (Switch, saw some gameplay, looks great)
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
