Ganon is now dead on both the Adult and Child Link timelines. I doubt he'll be coming back for a while. Unless his corpse is revived like it was in the Oracle games.Boney said:I actually never realized this... mind blown.
No way. Link can't move diagonally, you can only stab forward, the "puzzles" are just pushing ramdon blocks and bombing random stuff in order to hopefully find the next dungeon.Leondexter said:I not only beat it with no guide, I got every single secret in the game without any exposure to information of any type except what came in the box.
Years later I did the same thing with the 2nd quest since I never had.
It's the goddamned game industry that hasn't aged well, since it now clings to the belief that players can't (or won't) think for themselves. Zelda has aged just fine. It's still the best NES game by a country mile.
Well, he didn't really die in TWW, did he? It seems liked they intended for him to come back, since he only turned into stone...KeeSomething said:Ganon is now dead on both the Adult and Child Link timelines. Or is that reserved for WW design only?

I did, you can read the arm's movement by looking at the elbow, interesting!Gamer @ Heart said:Try it with someone. Have both of you look at each others elbows when you swing and you will always hit.
Gamer @ Heart said:This is why i want those rumors of a Ocarina prequel to be true. I would love if there was no ganon.
He didn't really die in The Wind Waker, he was pretty much frozen in time/turned into a statue. If someone were to pull the Master Sword out somehow you can bet your ass he'd be alive and kicking again.KeeSomething said:Ganon is now dead on both the Adult and Child Link timelines. I respect Zelda 1, but ALttP made replaces it completely. Just like how Super Metroid made the original irrelevant.
You mean the DS games?ShockingAlberto said:The last two Zelda games have not had Ganon

Steampunk Zelda or its a fail!
Wind Waker and TP had Ganon. :OShockingAlberto said:The last two Zelda games have not had Ganon
jdogmoney said:I bet the "seamless transition" thing will be like Majora's Mask, where you had dungeons that weren't. Like the Pirates' fortress thing.
Also, MM had no Ganon(dorf), and was better for it.
Time cycle gameplay confirmed?!
Yes. The last two Zelda games.Branduil said:You mean the DS games?

Oh, ok. For got about those but for some reason I don't really see them as legitimate Zeldas.DreadTheUnDead said:he meant the DS WW sequels I assume

selig said:Majora´s Mask does NOT have a different "structure" compard to OoT and Co.. It has a different focus, but the same, old structure. So no, if Zelda Wii is like MM, I consider it a failure.
And I hope Ganon is part of the game.

Ah, that's right. ALttP, ZI and ZII both can be placed in that timeline...Easy_D said:He didn't really die in The Wind Waker, he was pretty much frozen in time/turned into a statue. If someone were to pull the Master Sword out somehow you can bet your ass he'd be alive and kicking again.
Also, he dies in alttp? He also dies in Zelda 1, that's the plot in Zelda 2, his minions wants to revive him and shit.
