Ganon is now dead on both the Adult and Child Link timelines. I doubt he'll be coming back for a while. Unless his corpse is revived like it was in the Oracle games.

It's the goddamned game industry that hasn't aged well, since it now clings to the belief that players can't (or won't) think for themselves. Zelda has aged just fine. It's still the best NES game by a country mile.

No way. Link can't move diagonally, you can only stab forward, the "puzzles" are just pushing ramdon blocks and bombing random stuff in order to hopefully find the next dungeon.

I respect Zelda 1, but ALttP made replaces it completely. Just like how Super Metroid made the original irrelevant.

Well, he didn't really die in TWW, did he? It seems liked they intended for him to come back, since he only turned into stone...

Well, I don't think it's reserved for any style, particularly, but I think this game will take place long before the events of WW.

I wouldn't say that either of the timelines are forever tied to an art style, but it's certainly like that for now...

I bet the "seamless transition" thing will be like Majora's Mask, where you had dungeons that weren't. Like the Pirates' fortress thing.

Also, MM had no Ganon(dorf), and was better for it.

Time cycle gameplay confirmed?!

Ah, but a previous rumor had said that there would be time travel. So if the prequel rumor is true, odds are close to 1:1 that the cause of whatever brouhaha will be revealed as Ganon trying to prevent the Master Sword from being created, and thus preventing the Hero of Time of ever rising up to challenge him.

He didn't really die in The Wind Waker, he was pretty much frozen in time/turned into a statue. If someone were to pull the Master Sword out somehow you can bet your ass he'd be alive and kicking again.

Also, he dies in alttp? He also dies in Zelda 1, that's the plot in Zelda 2, his minions wants to revive him and shit.

Majora´s Mask does NOT have a different "structure" compard to OoT and Co.. It has a different focus, but the same, old structure. So no, if Zelda Wii is like MM, I consider it a failure.

And I hope Ganon is part of the game.

Ah, that's right. ALttP, ZI and ZII both can be placed in that timeline...

I'll admit that I'm not the best timeline theorist.

I don't know if it would have been better if he got banned before or around the time of E3. Would he have gotten worse during E3 or calmed down because of it?
