First of all, it'd take more work that could be used on refining the game in a more meaningful and current way and more importantly, Nintendo wants(and will go out of their way to make it happen) you to use the new system's defining control mechanism. If they give options for every game to use older control methods, it surely doesn't speak confidently of their new style.

It won't be Hyrule, it will be Termina 100 years prior. And you get there somehow. And there's TWO moons. And... you ride a dragon. And instead of masks, you get the "Hero's Wand" (which will look similar to a Wiimote) which you get "attachments" to in order to acquire abilities. And in one dungeon you ride in a boat into complete darkness. And then... you must use a special illuminating Hero Wand upgrade to light up the cave, and you go around chasing after the sea serpent in total darkness illuminating the water trying to find your way around. Yup.

What your referring to is one of the universal problem that these games have been having in the last 2 gens IMO . . . transportation. Be it boat or Train or Horse they can't seem to get shit right when trying to make the world feel BIG because of any number of reasons. (ST/PH = hw limitations causing shitty overworld transportation. WW was rushed and TP had one hell of a development hell)
I was OK with MM overworld horse riding, it was smaller so I guess that helped.

Yeah, maybe. It won't negate the fact that riding a horse has, thus far, been a painful experience in Zelda games. It's always possible they could make it fun, though.Instro said:
