AFAIK, it's xdude exclusive. Buy at launch or risk genital punching.Wario64 said:Is Jade Empire going on PC too, like KOTOR?
All platforms are going to slow down substantially in the 2nd half, as resources get shifted to Xbox2 and PS3. Xbox will probably slow down faster than PS2 though.Hollywood said:Is there stuff for the second half of the year? Is what I'm wondering more .. you know, the end of 2005 - whats going to be the big game? Or will everything be on XBox 2 by then?

MS probably paid alot for them to release the xbox version first and that period of exclusivity.binary said:From pc.ign.com
"Several times during our stay, Joint-CEOs Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk noted that Jade Empire was exclusive to Xbox "for now," suggesting that the martial arts RPG would have a second home following the release of Jade on Xbox next March. Because Greg and Ray have stated on numerous occasions that Xbox was the only console capable of running the games they want to make, the only logical assumption is that Jade Empire will be ported over to the PC in either the summer or fall of 2005. Considering BioWare did the same thing for Knights of the Old Republic and has always supported the PC, this one seems like a no-brainer."
The exclusivity of Jade Empire probably won't last long...

The only chance for Kameo to sell well is as a launch title. MS is no fool and realized they would not be able to market it correctly on the current Xbox. It has a chance on Xbox 2 if MS really wants to have goog platforming games throughout the console lifetime.Mama Smurf said:Oh I'd put money on it. Well, maybe not launch, but Xbox 2 yeah. Either that or never. It mysteriously disappeared from IGN's release list.
Well we all know launch titles sell a lot more than their sequel usually (see Amped, PGR, Pikmin) unless it's a very special title like Halo. So Kameo, a game that does not really appeal to usual Xbox crowd would have a much better chance to sell and even create a market for the genre as a launch title. But then a few weeks after launch is almost the same as a launch title, true enough.Mama Smurf said:...why? Why wouldn't it sell as well a bit into the Xenon's life? Maybe it could make it in time to be a Christmas title following up on the launch games.

If you look at the games listed, 2005 is likely to be better than 2004 for Xbox. The line-up has the potential to kick some ass.

If you buy an Xbox not your gonna be kicking yourself once they start showing Xenon stuff.
