Oli, if you're serious, that's cool. Nobody's born perfect by any stretch, and whether a person believes in God or not, it still behooves them to realize that before casting their stones. People lapse, too, based entirely on how they feel at any given time: if you're high on yourself, it's pretty easy to fall into a condemnatory stance. Likewise, if you remember the pain of others' intolerance, you may become more tolerant, or you may also relish the chance to be on the side of the tormentors. I think it's pretty clear which is the "good" choice to make.
Anyway, we don't ban folks for having an opinion unless they can't let it go when it's getting them nowhere and is bringing down the forum as a whole. This often includes a few judgment calls, especially when the bad attitude is a bit nore subtle and spread out. There's a vast gulf of difference between mocking folks for their tastes and politics, and mocking their deeper personal convictions and appearance, and we expect our forum members to know when they're toeing the line. Those that can't separate themselves from their anxieties and insecurities long enough to apologize when they've crossed that line wholesale get the boot.
