An inflatable plastic doll which comes as a complimentary (but reusable) accessory in nintendo's love hotels, kind of like headphones on long-distance flights.JoshuaJSlone said:As opposed to what?

I know I shouldn't underestimate Nintendo, but they're the hardest of the three to predict.guek said:would have been pretty ridiculous if it had been otherwise

It would not have surprised me if they filled it to the brim with superfast RAM and they kept it at about the same level as the 360 in raw MB. It'd blow both current gen consoles out of the water, but the ignorant folks would eat that shit up lol.
More than half a gig of RAM from Nintendo who historically likes their exotic and fast RAM can only mean good things for us though.![]()

Man, am I the only crazy person who hopes Zelda remains...a polygonal game? What I mean is, Twilight Princess has some of the best modeling I've ever seen, but clearly everything is still angular, but beautifully so. Kinda like World of Warcrafts especially with the refinements made over the years. Sure, I want much better lighting and effects...but I still love the polygonal look done right. This is why I like the Zelda demo they showed off so much, still had that art design.

Until point cloud samples become standard it will be pixels or polygons.

MDX said:You bet, lets not forget these guys had this whole generation to design their first HD machine.
They witnessed the limitations of the 360 and PS3. They know what they need to bring out in the visual department to separate their console from the HD twins. Yet the also know, that there isn't much the HD twins can come out with, thats affordable, with their next gen consoles that will look significantly better than what the WiiU will be able to produce.

I'd say the most likely scenario is a Medium to High settings difference between the consoles. The Witcher 2 on 360 looks pretty to close to it set on Medium on a PC.Luckyman said:That´s like saying a PC game on HIGH is not significantly better than on LOW. And this is the best Wii U scenario
When you see Epic talking about UE4 they for sure are not talking about Nintendo

Given the huge gulf in power between a new gaming PC and a 360. I can't see Nintendo hurting.

You can on the 3DS. No reason for them to not put that functionality in the Wii U.Log4Girlz said:Man I'm so excited about the controller. I just hope if I'm stuck in a game I can log onto the internet in the background and look up a guide from the controller...that would be awesome.

Any developments as to WiiU memory and the nanometer processes from the previous "leak"? So for now we can only guess it's RAM only because of Nintendo intel blackout.
They I guess you aren't aware of the pretty nifty ninty features it has packing.Log4Girlz said:I don't own a 3DS![]()

We know of 1... then someone confirmed at least 2...then 01net said zero... then a tech sheet somewhere suggested 4...Meikiyou said:Is there some confirmations as how many tablet like controllers it will support?
Trike said:Soo, when are we gonna hear more information? Is Nintendo gonna have their Media Summit or whatever conference that they usually do in the fall? Or will that not be happening because they had a large presence at Tokyo Game Show? We know pretty little considering that it is supposed to come out before April 1st, 2012.
Do you know where that came from? I've heard people claim that since E3, but it sounded more like speculation.AceBandage said:Nintendo isn't saying anything until next year.
The 3DS's screens aren't even close to SD.sfried said:They I guess you aren't aware of the pretty nifty ninty features it has packing.
Slidepad Expansion makes me think they want you to use 3DS as a main controller of sorts with Wii U, seeing as how it has similar SD widescreen resolutions (abeit 3DS one is actually semi-16:9 in 2D but can theoretically be 16:9 when 3D).
But the whole fact they didn't show any actual in-game footage at E3, and the tightlippedness... That's more intruiging.
You mean after.Trike said:Soo, when are we gonna hear more information? Is Nintendo gonna have their Media Summit or whatever conference that they usually do in the fall? If we do, it'll probably be at that Jump event in Japan this December.bgassassin said:There is a person I've seen say a few times we'll be hearing something before the year is over, so we'll see.
Ah crap, I forgot the vertical resolution. Still, the inclusion of extra shoulder buttons on the accessory begs the question...BurntPork said:The 3DS's screens aren't even close to SD.

I think you're in the wrong thread.Harlock said:Interesting how the Vita alone can compete (and maybe win) both 3DS and Wii U.
Wii U controller with screen is made mainly because the japanese the market, with your lack of space and different game culture. But the Vita offers the same thing, but with the advantage that you can take it when leaving home.
