Yeah, I would considered that a great result for a AA game that's also on Game Pass. It will hit even higher CCUs this weekend.

I am super excited for e:33 but more than oblivion it's harmed by kcd2, I'm 120 hours in and have another 30 to go.
I'll do e:33 before death stranding, and oblivion later in the year

It's a "Persona metes Attack of Titan" kind of game. Loving it so far.

It means it's doing SUPER well, specially for a new dev studio and new IP, or for a SP game that isn't from a top tier publisher, or for a game being included day one in a gamesub.

Depending on how its sales are split between console and PC, there are games with similar numbers (peak will be higher in the weekend) that ended selling over 10-15M in all platforms combined.

For their context, pretty likely if they even sell half of that will be very happy.

Seems that both games sold a lot of copies despite being available in Game Pass. Good for Clair Obscur. I plan on checking it out in Game Pass today or tomorrow and if I like it I'm buying the PS5 version.

I bought both but i have way, way more expectations for E33 than for oblivion, one is a promising new game, the other is a janky 20 years old game with a coat of paint.

Hopefully E33 is gonna sell enough to be a success.

This is the evidence that in Xbox studios there is no one at the wheel. Both are Gamepass games, what's the point of releasing right now a remake of a 1000 year old game that you know will damage (more or less damage) the release of a new IP like Expedition 33? It doesn't make sense and it only hurts the small company.

Did not affect me, the price was extremely fair for this one, and GMG/CD Keys has it under $40

Will spend most of my weekend on Oblivion. But will fire this up as well and see how it is

I was thinking if it could hit 40-50k peak it will have done very well given the circumstances (Game Pass plus Oblivion release), but it looks like it should do a decent amount better than that.

If it could get close to Metaphor (86k) despite being on Game Pass that would be pretty impressive.

Stopped playing Oblivion day1... stutterfest, smearing, FG probs, bad performance in general, gfx look ok inside but overworld looks really meh for a UE5 game.
Also combat feels like ass after playing Avowed

Playing Clair Obscure atm, it's GOTY for sure. Bought it on Steam before finishing the tutorial on gamepass... it's just that amazing.
