So if you go to Zune.net now, it detours to this: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Partners/Zune
And there's this little tidbit:
So it looks like one of the cooler features of the Zune Pass is coming to an end, it softened the blow of canceling the subscription, and loosing access. At least we're getting cloud storage, streamable playlists (finally!) and giving everyone free access to make and share playlists ala Spotify.
google event in NYC on Oct 29.

The Verge is reporting Lumia 920 will be AT&T exclusive for 6 months. RIP in pieces Nokia.

Nokia are such idiots. Getting an HTC WP8 instead of the Lumia 820 for TMobile.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
What's the premiere WP8 phone for TMobile though? Had my heart set on a Nokia offering.
Well, It looks like the Xbox Division is slowly looking to take over the company... One division at a time.
I wish
someone I know just went to xbox! Another one of my friends from school is also working ther! Xbox Takover...ahhhh

Yeah, I can't wait that long. The Verge is reporting Lumia 920 will be AT&T exclusive for 6 months. RIP in pieces Nokia.

Really keep wishing they could have afforded to go in another direction with the way they marketed the 920.
sounds like you can keep a W7 PC with Zune installed around to get the 10 free songs.
Exclusive to AT&T for 6 months.

Terrible videos, sounds like someone made them to sell the phones by reading off a spec sheet. Good luck with your AT&T exclusivity Nokia.

Nokia made a profit (If you discount the €600M they used on "Restructuring").!
Microsoft has said they wish to keep the Windows Phone 8 SDK secret so as not to reveal unannounced features of the new OS.
Yeah sure, unannounced features. They don't exist.
the app contracts feature hasn't been announced yet (but was 'leaked' by Thurrott)...![]()
But that's not really consumer-facing, is it?
You can't announce what doesn't exist!
Like I said earlier, there might me some little, neat things that aren't announced yet, also something Bing related.
US only!
Sorry, still salty about Xbox music again not coming over here.
It isn't? Man, fuck this.
It will be available in Germany, but not Austria.
I'm sure Nokia's various investors are so pleased with how Elop's reign is going.
Here's Nokia's quarterly "Hey, where did all my money go?!" report.
$754 million Loss.
Reading it a little more it actually isn't as bad as I had thought.
They have actually reached an operating profit this quarter. That's nuts.
Elop: a Surface phone would stimulate the Windows Phone ecosystem
Well, I guess we can consider that a confirmation
Elop is a plant, on a mission to break Nokia to a point where MS can buy bits like the mapping business even cheaper than it is now.
I suppose it depends which company actually gets the contract to build the Surface Phone.
I don't really know what MS could put in a surface phone that would make it better than what HTC and Nokia are doing to be honest, and if it's anything like the Surface tablet then it will be at least $100 overpriced as well.
So Elop is probably right, MS will spend lots of money marketing it, then people will go into stores and buy Nokia's instead.
I'm sure Nokia's various investors are so pleased with how Elop's reign is going.
Guess Samsung and Huawei have to make do with sticking a big Windows Phone logo at the back of the phone.
