The ANN list is worse because Ano Hana is so high.
While I disagree with a lot of the top picks on both lists, it does warm my heart to see Trust and Betrayal so high on both.
Hmmm. It's pretty reliant on exposition throughout, like a typical Kenji Kamiyama work. I don't think it'd be up your alley.
As much as I want to say Heroic Age because it's my secret guilty pleasure sci-fi series, I know you'll porbably hate and I'll feel sad. Plus it has Hirai face everywhere.
Therefore I will continue to plug this series to death: Mushishi. SAme director as Flowers of Evil!
Or you take a crack at Gintama Since you watch at most an episode a day, it'll be a nice journey. Actually based on that logic, the first series of Ippo might work as well...
To this day, I still can't believe they managed to pull that kind of ending from what was normally, a pretty standard show.

Well, it's brand new so the only people who have seen it are super-fans who have given it a super high rating propelling it straight to the top. It's got like 12,000 fans versus the 272,000 of the next title.

MAL has ranked Gintama as the #1 anime before, perhaps there's just a large amount of fans there!
and all the gintama series are still in the top 10! the one ray of light in that darkness!

That's certainly pretty bad. Although the ANN list has Bunny Drop fairly high up, and also has Baccano and Cross Game, none of which make the MAL list.

Seriously tough, I'm finding myself at odds with people here way too often. There's a lot of animes that I find enjoyable (like Kyoukai no Kanata), or even really good (Like Ano Hana) that people really dislike, and I really can't see why. This happen so often that I even made this:

I would like to know how Mayoi Neko Overrun! is considered one of the fifty overrated anime over at ANN. It's even listed as slightly more overrated than Tenchi in Tokyo!

Seriously tough, I'm finding myself at odds with people here way too often. There's a lot of animes that I find enjoyable (like Kyoukai no Kanata), or even really good (Like Ano Hana) that people really dislike, and I really can't see why. This happen so often that I even made this:
Opinions are opinions are opinions and such. Actually, I thought Ano Hana was supposed to be good? Anyway, KyoAni seems especially divisive around here. I only watched the first ep of KnK and it didn't interest me, but I don't think Chu-2 really deserves the hate it gets here. It's not great, but it had its moments (mostly the non-dramatic stuff, and the last two episodes weren't very good yeah). In fact, if Chu-2 2 is less focused on dramatics it'll probably be a better show.
I really need to refind what that Saber picture is from. I vaguely recall it having to do with her stealing Kiritsugu's pants.

Wow, that was a lot better than I was expecting. A really strong start, and this looks set to become one of my favourite new shows of the season. The show has nice production values, a great OP, tons of style, cool special powers, and best of all, it's a detective show. The detective/mystery genre is always a good recipe for some enjoyable narratives, and it's a genre I don't seem to see nearly enough of in anime (perhaps because nobody wants to move in on Detective Conan's turf? =p)
Butyeah, I've always been of the opinion that the mystery genre and supernatural abilities should be a great match for each other as long as those abilities are well-defined, and I can already see promising signs of that here, with the information that every special ability in this world requires some kind of specific "tic" to activate it. Reminds me a lot of Darker Than Black, actually, though of course these prices come before the ability use rather than after.
Looking forward to seeing how this series progresses.

It's probably specifically that it came right off Hyouka. I don't hate it, but in a year where AnoNatsu nailed the high school drama romcom, Chuu2 couldn't even compete on that front.
Teacher > Swim Sempai> Morishima > Rihoko > whatever.

Yeah, I was disappointed with her design too. No hairclips? What's the point in getting rid of her "charm point"? I hope she reverts back.

I would say for you to come to Minas, but unless you like old stuff and climbing mini mountains, there's not much to do And you're not missing anything by not going to the beachs (Most of them).
Yeah, I know, but there's a difference. I didn't enjoyed Panty & Stocking because of the type of the jokes, but I can't say it's a bad anime. Now, Umineno no Nako Koro ni, for example, IS a bad anime, because it was poorly executed. I've seen people here calling a lot of good animes shit. It's really strange.
