Meanwhile, Imaizumi's path to mahou shoujo enlightenment continues XD
Transformers: The Movie
Been wanting to revisit this to see what stuff was overanimated and check out the art in general. Wasn't as much as I thought given a lot of spartan background art and the characters not being as well animated at times as I thought they might be. I mean it's still well above TV standards but it's not some clinic on character animation.
There were some highlights though:
Free!
Also, check out the S2 episode Call of the Primitives. It is the only legit well-animated episode of G1.
I dunno, but I've been on board that train since FMP.
I don't even remember it. All I really remember of that series is the Princess two parter.
Pretty much every Fumoffu episode is Best Episode Ever material. This particular one..is close to the Best Ever Ever.
Has there been any anime besides Gintama that talks to the audience/breaks the fourth wall and acknowledges they're a show? I've always liked that and Gintama does it all the time. Like when they did the Star Wars/Gundam arc
"You can't call them Gundam or we're gonna get sued!"
"It's animated by the same studio, the lawsuit will go nowhere"
Nyarko thrives on it, and the first (my favorite) season of Hayate no Gotoku! turned it into an art form. Pani Poni Dash! has quite a few moments of it, too, including the recurring, unspoken gag that the entire thing is being filmed on a soundstage. And on that note, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, all of it.Has there been any anime besides Gintama that talks to the audience/breaks the fourth wall and acknowledges they're a show? I watch it! I just need to be in here to comment on it more.(And Tesagure, but nobody watches that except me)
"A friend of Megumi's from her year. In the same class. A 'soothing type' (iyashi-kei) who calms her surroundings with a soft and fluffy atmosphere. Has a slightly chubby figure."
Yayoi is still the best yellow Cure, but Yuuko looks like a strong contender.
Nobunagun 4
I see the anime is trying to ship her with Ripper. I strongly disagree with that pairing. I like it when she goes into Nobunagun mode.

FMP? Fumoffu!! 12
Haha, on second thought, the biohazard episode may well be the funniest one.
What? Leonard isn't even that great. Unless we're talking Kalinin, who is unnaturally attractive for a man of his age.
I actually don't remember any Princess Two Parter in Full Metal Panic at all?

The one where the gang kidnaps Kaname is the first episode. It's not bad, but the Ghost hospital is my favorite. The two funniest episodes are undoubtedly the Rugby and Hotsprings episodes, though.
I'm sorry Cajun, but:but...but...CUTE
I'm sorry Cajun, but:
Tomboys revealing something girly about themselves and then being cute > cute cute
If you want to save KyoAni send them a really really good LN for their competition. I mean you've seen the standards of the stories that get chosen for animation so it can't be that hard to best them. Add a bit of pandering of course, they need merchandise money!
The biohazard one is probably the best.
"I can accept anything but I can't accept this".
I meant Goddess. According to guides, episodes 8-9.
It was the first? Damn I swear it was after that. Well it was still my favorite lol.
there was another with a bomb in the cafeteria food or so Sousuke thought.
Different leagues, Itsuki is of the handsome reverse-trap sort and not necessarily the cool athletic type like Makoto. Itsuki is love though.how Makoto-like is she? thats the benchmark.
So far my relationship with Space Dandy is that it's enjoyable enough but it isn't the savior of anime. Just really pretty to look at and might get chuckles from me.
The moment Sousuke mentions he has a vaccine is when everything gets hilarious.
Oh, yeah, okay, that makes sense. Kaname's codename is Angel, and Tessa's is Goddess. That's the arc when Tessa comes to visit and Sousuke has a nervous breakdown. The Hotsprings episode is the second half of that arc.
There's one where Sousuke boobytraps the cafeteria food, but, haha, that's also the first episode.

The kancolle train cannot be stopped and it's not even at maximum speed.
Oh wow.
Itsuki in my book. The girl is a beast.
Looks like this may be my signal to drop this if true.
The way they've been portraying him up to that point didn't strike me as a guy who was into art.
Yamato 2199 16
I always knew that whiley ass lookin' motherfucker was up to no good, just a shama Shima went for a hand shot instead of something a bit further up.
There is a city in Log Horizon based in southern USA called Cajun.
Cajun has his own city.
It made sense when you knew who he truly was, seeing as he treated a lot of things with a similar reverence. He simply lamented what his world no longer possessed.
Very makoto-likehow Makoto-like is she? thats the benchmark.
Don't start ..I found out what this is. Preorders start next week. I might buy two.
