Oh for the love of fuck. The publish time for Kill la Kill on CR just jumped from 3 minutes to 3 hours.

Fuck it, I'll watch it tomorrow.

lol Kill la Kill pushed back 3 more hours on CR wtfffffffffff
It's the price we're paying for all of this:
though maybe it is all on Aniplex's head. Still seems unclear exactly who's providing the English subs for KLK.

(though yes, I do realize that a handful of those are short-form shows and three of them were one-time specials)

Between this and KLK tonight has just been my jaw on the floor non stop. I mean what the fuck. Hito wasn't joking when he said there was some serious Happy Science going down in this episode.

Like, just. I haven't had the slightest idea where SamFlam is going for a long time now, and I have never been happier.

That blatant content stretch!

SNIPER STRATEGIES ON MISUNDERSTANDING! ALL THESE STRATEGIC EPISODES IN MY VEINS! ONCE AGAIN THE MOMENT I SAY SOMETHING I AM GRACED OR CURSED BY MY ABILITY TO NOTICE THINGS

Engaged to the Unidentified 1

I am already in love with this show and it's characters. Characters were established early. The plot points were nicely laid out. The confusion of the MC and problem the show is setting up is compelling and engaging. I really like the art style. By the end I legitimately cared for all the characters including the guy. I also laughed more than I thought I would.

This is gonna be a good one I can tell. As entertaining and compelling as OreImo before that show went downhill in the S2 ending and OVA's.

So basically it's the one I am most interested in of the four I listed earlier. Really good fun to be had I can tell. :)

I typed Samurai Flamenco to search for images, and got yaoi fan art. Like really well drawn and everything.

Creepy anime fans have evolved.

GOTO-SAN DON'T DO THAT. STAHP IT GOTO-SAN.

This is what I thought. Neither Daisuki nor Hulu have episode 18's English subs available. Maybe the Japanese licensor is forcing the English subs to be withheld for a certain amount of time.

Kill la Kill 18

Well, this was the most entertaining the show has ever been, even if it is nonsense. It doesn't make the episodes before this any better though.

Gintama 93

This is like... one of the strangest Valentine's Day episodes I've ever seen.... TOO BAD IM TWO HOURS OFF UNTIL V-DAY! HAHAHAHA! I FUCKED THAT UP GOOD

I lost it when
Mister Justice
showed up at the beginning.

"And me too" was basically his appearance haha.
For me it was at the end when
Mister Justice removes his disguise to reveal Alien Flamenco, whose body shape is absolutely nothing like Mister Justice's, while everybody else in the room does a Scooby-Doo-just-unmasked-the-villain-esque "Ehhh?" at his true identity.

That too. Also when Samumenco asks
why is everybody called Flamenco
and the answer they give him is basically "because reasons!"

hahahaha I'm going to pretend the anime wanted to go somewhere during the first 5-6 episodes, then the whole staff gave up, did cocaine and wrote in a
gorilla with a guillotine
. Then the show's ratings went up and they just kept doing more cocaine.

The reality is that it was planned from the beginning most likely, but man I want to believe my version.

This was great too.
Especially since they zoom in on his head when he pulls off the disguise. I expected it to just be a mask but then they pull back and he's a pointy metal hammerhead shark.

I lost it when
he announced his alien armor is powered by his approval rating.

My favorite part is that, after all the batshit nonsense they've been through in this episode and the entire series so far, this was the only episode where they bother to even question it. Where anyone even says "I don't believe it!"

Actually, I take that last statement back. The part of Samurai Flamenco ep.17 that caused me to almost fall out my chair laughing was when
the portraits of previous prime ministers in an empty conference room suddenly shout out LASER EYES to form a set of battle armor
.

I was too completely awed by disbelief to laugh at that point.

I take mine back too. I burst out laughing at that point more than any other.

Natsume Yuujinchou: Itsuka Yuki no Hi ni

*sigh* Such a tease. So want another season of this.

Was nice and standalone. Though I'm sad it didn't have any of Natsumes spirit or human friends.

Just hearing Touko again made me all warm and fuzzy. So much warmth in her voice.

How cute, they tried to humanize the mother a bit in the final scene...she's still a bitch though.
She couldn't have children, so she told her husband to get a child with another woman rather than adopt, and when he obeys her, she gets bitter towards her husband and the child forever

Not the smartest test of relationship commitment, because then you end up with evidence of your manipulative behaviour that either you and/or your husband need to acknowledge for the rest your lives

"I'm sorry, let's not do this, let's get a divorce"
didn't appear in your thoughts for the few weeks when you could still back off?

The contracts that happen between parent and child in this series are such a heavy watch

Well, this was certainly a more interesting chapter than the last. It was certainly refreshing to focus on some new characters for a change, while still learning a bit more about the overall situation.

I think I've just grown to despise Keiichi after the previous chapter, so his absence helped.

Gintama 94-95

Hay, something serious for Hasegawa... somewhat. I mean...
shit, this is all about him performing the Kinniku buster on a stranger as an act of molestation.

And 95 has brought us one of the greatest fucking trials ever. I mean, I was laughing my ass off at it.
Like a grand majority of it wasn't even very relevant! It's was practically fangasm wars over Kinniku Buster's intentions and healthy porn owning.

That court ending though, that backstory about Hasegawa and his wife. Neat! That final nail in the prosecutor's case got him through. And it was like... the one moment he wasn't being a dick to get him a guaranteed win.

But yes. That court session was fucking spectacular.

Since a while I've been thinking wouldn't it be funny if
Ryuuko and Satsuki ended up being daughters?
And then it happens.
Great episode, but I don't like how it ended QQ

Goddamn.. that was amazing

You know what, for all fault that this show does.. Ragyou is magnificent villain, she's better than any TTGL's antagonist and always lifting the show when making appearance, she truly saving the show.

Remind me to Kira Yoshikage in JoJo part 4, that singlehandedly (that's hyperbole though, almost) turned the table and making thing became awesome.

Samurai Flamenco Ultimate Prime Minister Edition

"Public support, son!"

Holy shit, they've done it AGAIN! I don't even know where to start.
The self melting caltrops. The special ink & brush. MAGNETIC FIST. The Prime Ministers Armour summon. The twist leading to another twist leading to ULTIMATE TWIST.
Also happy to have the "DING DING DING DING" sequence again.

And I have to wait another WEEK? Damn this will be hard.

Funny that they can still find more Little Busters material to adapt though. 39 episodes and an OVA was not enough!

Speaking of which, the Natsume OVA turned out exactly as one might expect:
