In the manga at least there were some pretty significant differences in each go round. Usually focused on a different character's angst each time and stuff.

It's been high on my backlog since it finished, but I have no idea when I would have been able to convince myself to actually start it (kind of like those Patlabor DVDs...). This means I've got a reason to begin. And I'd like to believe that Mouryou no Hako is good enough that someone won't feel cheated after they watch it.

It starts to get answered around the end of the first 26 episode season. Most of the pieces of the puzzle don't come until Kai, which is the 24 episode 2nd season.

Kino will be a very interesting show for you to givd impressions. It could be rage or admiration or even confusion but I look forward to the results
I don't want spoilers, I just wanted to know what the hell was going on with this show. The transition from one arc to the next is, if nothing else, unexplained and abrupt. This is the third time, now, with no explanation, so I think my confusion at what is going on is justifiable and understandable.

arc for the second season. Love how quickly this series moves through the "side stories" so it can get to the real meat and potatoes. Still very entertaining
Now I remember why I love this show so much. Forgot how intentionally/unintentionally funny this show gets. Still absolutely beautiful on Blu-Ray.

Kabuto hesitated fighting when he saw the blood caused from his fighting. It's nice to see something like this after watching many other shows where buildings and crap gets destroyed and yet we see nobody hurt in the process, so it's nice to see a main character aware of this.
BUT that doesn't stop him from letting everything loose after Grandpa Dr. Wily dies. I mean good lord, what a rampage! It was like Mazinger Z was Godzilla and Ashura and his/her minions was the military. Seriously, dat BREASTO FIYA!

First of... I absolutely have no idea what is going on. This is episode was going at a breakneck speed just throwing characters and terminologies at me. It was exhausting trying to follow and understand what they are trying to get at. Having said that, It was very nicely animated and had beautifully drawn pastel(?) backgrounds. I feel like I don't have enough to fully discuss the characters at this point, but I will say Suiginto is a jerk, Hina-Ichigo is a bit annoying and Kanaria is alright with me.

Rozen Maiden is a really good show and its the show from 2013 that I would recommend that someone watch the most.
First episode is an attempt to recap the entire first manga series. It gets a lot better/different in the second episode.
I see, I'm guessing episode 2 is the real first episode then?
All we need now is to know when to start.
