You can use potions and food to regenerate I think.
Yes but you have to choose your avaible potions before the battle.

By the way the boat section in the monsters trailer looks so much better than the footage in angryjoe video.

Shots look nice. I'm ready for an open world jaunt again after finishing up on Bloodborne. But something about this is off a little bit with me, can't put my finger on it. I imagine I'll grab it but I'll maybe hang fire until I see some GAF reviews......I never played the first, only played the 2nd very briefly.

So, at the end of the monsters trailer we see the King of the Wild Hunt back to his glorious form, I know they are most likely only re-using old footage but that scene with the village burning is the best there is imo, looks so good.

MS have the marketing deal, but I'm a little perplexed why MS aren't flooding the Internet with XB1 console footage....
Even so, whatever Sony wants to show it cannot be without CDPR's consent. When it comes to W3 CDPR has the first word.

The german pr guy and a german level designer have both confirmed, that they're waiting on Sony release the footage.

I really am so pumped for this game. It's crazy.
Which is weird because although I have been a fan of the first two, I had many critiques of them, and it took me several times of trying to even finish the second. (Never finished the 1st, got to the swamps and quit).
But this entry seems to be doing everything right, and I really like the direction it's going in.
In addition it being the first truly current gem only RPG, with no load screens, cutting edge tech, and gorgeous art. That helps as well.

Because obviously they are in some short of agreement with CDPR about releasing PS4 footage. Besides CDPR is a polish studio, so keeping tabs with PS Poland seems pretty reasonable to me.
But.
Whatever PS Poland will show, it has to go through CDPR first.
And in any case we are side tracking here. My point was that whoever shows, whatever they show, they better be legit or else we will soon find out and it wont look good for them. Thats the point.

I had a similar experience, I played the first one but I somehow couldn't continue after I got to the swamps.
Than when the second game came, I got interested in the series again. So I played and completed it, loved it, turned to the first one again and completed it.

It's interesting that you say you've been a fan of the first two when you never finished 1 ... (which is arguably the better game of the two) very interesting !

I was absolutely loving TW1 until the swamps, then I kind of got bogged down, got distracted by other games, then tried to come back ages later and couldn't remember what was going on.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I'll be playing on PC but I sympathise with those hungry for console footage. I get the perspective that since the game isn't out it doesn't really matter, but people keen to pre-order special editions that risk limited quantity and those wishing to grab it at launch would naturally want to be informed as to the quality of the build to see if it meets their standard or, if they're multiplatform owners, which build they'd prefer. Less than two weeks before launch and no formal direct feed footage of each build and very little in the ways of impressions is frustrating.
Then I fail to see how you're a "fan" ...
I personally finished W1 twice, completely.
I finished W2 once and restarted it like 15 times but never got further than the beginning of ACT 2.. So I never saw the new quests in Act III for the Enhanced Edition... something in 2 feels off to me.

Because I loved what I played? It got me to buy and finish the sequel. Got me to read the comics. Got me to start reading the books. Got me to buy the CE of WH on PS4, as well as the PC version, and upgrade my PC completely to play it in 4K.
No, didn't finish the first, but I may yet, and I would say I am still a fan.
You are missing the best part if you havent finished the first Witcher. Just sayin' ... get going!

Because it's so close to release date and Microsoft failed to provide any Xbox One footage despite marketing deal (other than labelling PC gameplay with Xbox One logo and creating shitstorm in the process). Maybe? Possibly?
Yes, but on multiple DVDs, not Blu-ray. I don't think Blu-ray has taken off enough for anyone to start releasing PC games in that format.
Werewolves have improved quite a bit from TW2, not even mentioning TW1.
Considering how dying breed optical drives are in PC space and how relatively expensive BluRay drives still are so next to no one is getting them. DVD is way to go... 4-5 of them most likely.

7 !?! Sweet Lord above! There should be an option (DVD or BluRay) at this day and age.
I get it. Didn't realise BluRay drives for PC are still expensive. Pain in the ass, but I guess once the game is installed it's all good.

I am still waiting for pre-load announcement on PC. They are probably under NDA/contract with MS that is why pre-load is up on X1 for weeks now and PS4 and PC are only getting "Soon" treatment. I mean if they don't know when will be pre-load on GOG there is something wrong in that company
